I really don’t think that Gaura have it in them to understand the concept of yearning or burning for love. For them, the sense of comfort that marriage brought to their equation, and their support for each other with their gradual progress is love. Dev, on the contrary, has taken the journey of falling voluntarily in love with its highs and lows with Rishitha. One has to operate from the space of familiarity to understand what could be going on with the other person.
No wonder he could catch up! Also, Dev was the third angle to their story always! If you remember Gautam was ready to let Dev marry Ravi, and had commented that eventually they will fall in love. For Gaura falling in love is a journey, for Dev it was and escape from his reality. For Shive, it’s their entire universe.
@bold: Very apt

the thread has been ready from 2 days, but this one is just not finishing 😆
Let us finish this soon😎
Okay so I've been a bit late with watching the episodes and will have to go back to watch the last two to properly comment but wow. I am loving the episodes now. The seem so much like the ones we saw earlier on.
I hope Dev abd Shiva don't use the fd money without asking Gautam and Dhara.
Also can they please show Shiva getting the land back!! (maybe with his story on ig with janardhan he might make a deal with him?)
I read somewhere in the OG, Shiva's character gets trapped with store good from him and its a disaster... Hopefully the truck part was the equivalent and there is no other kaand where Shiva's innocence is taken for granted.

Dhappa, main bhi aa Gayi! Was swinging between office, siggy making and blah blah! Now, I can gush about the episode!
Before I say anything, I need to give it to Kinshuk today for fantastically portraying the frustration of the head of the family in the Middle Ages trying to don the hat of the father figure, taking the burden of the entire family on his shoulders while dealing with the frustration of being an incapable husband.
There are too many sacrifices that Gautam has done throughout his life!
Hardik pointing out his failure to be a good husband has deepened his grievances.
I don’t understand why would Hardik not be angry? We have seen past instances where Hardik has got angry with Gautam whenever Dhara’s self-respect has been compromised. The same Hardik was as furious as Shiva when he had got to know that Dhara was humiliated by Janardhan Seth!
He had said such mean words to Gautam. It’s ironic that in the 21st century, there is still so much bias against mayke wale speaking in the matters of Sasuraal.
A woman has all the rights to be treated well at her in-laws place, and if it’s not the case, the brother has full right to voice his opinion. What’s with this obsession about Mera Ghar?
Hardik got Dhara married to Gautam without even thinking for a second about his sister! He has full right to scold Gautam!
What kind of archaic values are we teaching? It’s high time that we break the notions of patriarchy, and stop viewing everything from a singular lens.
There is absolutely nothing wrong if Hardik would want to financially help Gautam. They could take it as a loan as you would take it from a bank. And, start paying EMI’s to repay it. Making her asleep in the veranda while getting beds for other people is hilarious. 😆
Also, the best arrangement could have been all the men sleeping outside, and letting the women sleep in the rooms.
Gautam looks so much in trauma!
Thank you for this post! I was really boggled with the backlash against Hardik.
Having a safety net, even if it is never used, is such a huge strength for a married woman. No woman should have to think that she has no way out or no place to go, if she has trouble in her married life.
Dhara and Raavi are extremely lucky in that sense- both Hardik and Maami staunchly state their support.
Rishitha is the one in a pitiable state- which makes her frustration understandable
