These days all show need to be preachy edgy and what not. Just give something fun. And what's this obsession with remaking like bollywood and itv doing these days, it don't even feel like GG. They could have named it anything else.

I watched gg years ago, forgot the storyline lol but I remember thinking how lucky Blake lively is, she was dating that hot guy in gg. She dated couple of hot guys and now is married to Ryan. Lucky girl. But the first one was fun and drama, the new one I didn’t watch it yet it looks dark theme. Life is dark, I like watching light shows

I loved gossip girl, I am definitely going to watch it.

Gossip girl had some crazy hot guys like Nate, Chuck, Carter, Gabriel, Colin, Jack, Jonathan and maybe (Dan???)

This one doesn’t seem to care about that. Pink hair, Disney star and a look a like RICH Dan. Hopefully we will get someone hot onscreen

The girls are pretty cute with the exception of the bald girl. Could they not find someone who looks like Naomi Campbell to play the Queen bee?

Legacies and The Perfectionists were that bad? I always thought having some familiar faces on the show must be helpful. Guess not!

The new one is said to have cameos from the original characters, let's see though. Reviews are in and they are as expected.

Legacies fans may get pissed at me for saying this (it's going on season 4 so I guess younger kids like it?), but it was basically someone trying to take all these fairytale, mythological characters and adding them into the TVD-verse and the end result was totally ridiculous. The Perfectionists was just trying really hard to be the more "mature" version of PLL but the acting was just bad.

Looks like people are running out of ideas globally 😆 Even TV has gotten bad over the years. OTT has some good stuff but that's about it.

Looks to be more in the spirit of Skins imo

Watched the first episode. OMG it is worse than i imagined. Where do i even start ?? Writing is so bad , there is literally no build up for anything . The main thing about GG was it was fun . The acting is even worse than the writing , they literally cast a leighton doppelganger to play the new version of Blair. They don't even have any chemistry , as much as i do not like Ed but his chemistry with Leighton was insane.

New Gossip girl made me realize that Leighton aced that role from day 1 and she carried that show. I miss the OG Gossip Girl lol.
