Ahem, coming back to Raghvi. Yes, they should definitely do it in the mansion. It's the starting point of all the stages of their relationship. Right from the first cross connection phone call that got them together, their first trip-and-hold, first 30 days challenge, Pallavi asking to use his house for work, the bomb scene, accident scene... every time they have come closer, RR mansion has been a silent witness 🤧 Even when they shared their room willingly for the first time, it was in RR mansion. First holi, first vat savitri, first gift... sab kuch RR mansion! This house is special for them! 🥺❤️

i have slightly different perception about this. i do feel his primary reason to do so was because he couldn't take the disgust from Pallavi. He had already known by now that she wasn't a bad human being, so somehow it mattered to him that she sees him as a respected opponent rather than an uncivilized, or a person without a moral compass.

Even though the primary reason for him to do that was that he couldn't take the disgust from Pallavi when Farhad questions him why he is trying to clear the stain on her character, Raghav doesn't have an answer. He knows that Pallavi can fight her own battles and Pallavi did fight this battle by getting a blood test done but he just couldn't let her character getting maligned like that. That is what Farhad and Rama talk when they come back to home. Rama asks Farhad - do you think RR is in love with Pallavi and Farhad says even Anna doesn't know the answer to that question. Yes it was a combination of all factors - disgust to anger that Pallavi's name was dragged in mud like that and anger that her compassion was viewed upon with wrong eyes in her family.

I seriously feel that Raghav thinks he is jinxed in the matters of love - Like he feels that woh kuch acha karne jata hain toh bhi bura ho jaata hain. He is like the desert plants that soak up all the available moisture so that they can withstand the long severe drought that they know is coming their way.

There is one dialogue that RR says when he narrates his story to Pallavi. He says mere zindagi main nafrat ke sivaye kuch nahin hain, toh main uski ke sahare jeena seekh liya. That truly tells the audience the mind state of Raghav. He feels he will never get any love and only nafrat is there in his fate. He could never let go of his guilt until Amma comes to him and absolves him of the crime saying Suno Raghav tum apna nanna aur chote bhai ka quatil nahin hain. The scene where RR stumbles back with relief as if a huge burden has been lifted off him - It was so beautifully done. Only then Raghav truly is able to get over his guilt.

Coming to Pallavi - He absolutely needs her in his life but he is also aware of the hurt the girl had to endure because of him. From the beginning he adored her fighting spirit and her self-confidence and attitude. He always said to Farhad - Yeh ladki alag hain, Ek akela ladki hain jo Raghav Rao ki aankhon main aankhen dal kar baat karti hain. That she was bold enough to challenge him and moral enough to not try to win in wrong ways made Raghav feel proud of her. And then Pallavi saves him during the Lion hotel attack he actually starts to feel attracted to her compassion and loving attitude.
Had it been any other girl who was linked to him during the abortion scandal, he wouldn't have batted an eyelid. Because Sulo pulled in Pallavi and RR together in the abortion scandal and made pallavi look like a person who will sleep around and then abort the baby - he made it his goal to clear her name. Farhad knows at this point that RR can digest anything except slander on Pallavi's character. That is why Farhad tries to pull his anna back from doing the defamation ploy. Farhad and RR both know that Pallavi is not someone who would do this to Keerti and Amma but RR goes batshit crazy in his anger and he loses reason. Farhad knows that if tomorrow pallavi is proven innocent, Raghav can never forgive himself and that is what happens when the truth comes out regarding Sulo framing Keerti and Amma.

For a person who still hasn't gotten over the guilt that he defamed Pallavi in the worst possible way and then married her by blackmailing her, I don't think he feels he even deserves her love. He is just happy having her around him because she is the Elixir to his life - One who has actively worked to get him closure on his past, mended his broken relationships and made his home a house. So he going ahead and declaring that he loves her would be rocking his boat and he is not sure if can afford to do that right now. But now if Pallavi even as much says - I Love and runs away he is smart enough to put 2 and 2 together and he will get the confidence that he can pursue love with his SKD. He needs the push that the other person feels him worthy of her because right now RR feels Pallu is that pristine water he can never taint. My 2cents
