I appreciated Khaani so much for that very reason; the fact that Khaani never felt anything for Hadi at any point because his crime was so big. Hadi got his redemption once he let go of Khaani, admitted to his crimes, and accepted his fate. Once he stopped directing his energy towards his love for Khaani and instead directed it towards loving God he found his peace. It wouldn't have had the same impact if Khaani had fallen in love and accepted him. Feroze and Sana did a romcom together after Khaani but it did not get that kind of fame so we can't say for sure if their new show will be worth it.

I watched Khaani on a whim last year and immediately regretted it when he kills her brother so brutally in broad daylight in front of everyone and gets away with it. I was like, where do those romantic scenes in the title song figure in all this?! ☢️

By the end of the show, I appreciated that she never even for a moment falls for him or sympathizes with him. And was SO glad that anonymous lover thing doesn't weaken her resolve at all. But I still kinda regretted watching the show at all cuz it was too sad! I would have enjoyed it, had he not killed her brother at all.

Had he not killed her brother, how would he ruin himself and brought the tragedy upon himself? I think the moment he shoots Sarim and then for the next second in his brutality he twitches his forehead and gets his senses, that very moment I knew that this saga will be bigger than any normal love story or tragedy. It was a very miserable show though, even though justice was served and Khaani rightfully never loved him, but the show was never about Khaani's love TBW. If you carefully watch and listen to the OST, it was from Mir Hadi's POV, and even though it was a risk, I feel the makers did a classy job by making it from his POV, human minds are very fascinating, with this show they delivered 3 messages, that one sided love can lead to a greater good too (how Mir Hadi finds himself and repents), God is fair with everyone and yes karma is a bitch, nobody can run away from it. This show also made the male lead extremely famous, he gave a career defining performance here, just like Rajeev's in KTH.

Oh yes. KTH was a full on Rajeev / Sujal show. Even Aamna who's so gorgeous couldn't keep the spark alive with Kashish-Piyush or Kashish-Thushar, because Rajeev brought that X factor to the entire show. He had that spark. He was that spark.

By the time Ekta humbled herself enough to call Rajeev onboard again for Haq Se, she knew he had become too big a name. Iconic really. I've seen people having fans on iTV, but I haven't seen a male lead having stardom like Rajeev.

I used to think how stubborn could she be, to bring Raj and Surveen back, when so many pined on Raj Aamna. I mean that pairing got her all the awards between 2004-05 😆 But I guess I couldn't blame her.

These two were ex-flames. But hey they did the Pak show Sunn Leyna together!☺️And they were supposed to do 'Hum Do Humare Do' and shot the promo for it, but it didn't take off :(

Rajeev rightfully has an iconic following and his fan base is static, like in every TV fan you will see that there is a hidden fondness for Rajeev/Sujal. I did not care to watch the show post his exit though, and thankfully I did not.

I do not think Raj-Aamna have any problem in working with each other though, Raj even made a cameo in Aamna's comeback show for sony Tv, also, recently during kasauti 2 when Aamna was interviewed reporters asked her about working with Raj again and she said she would love to do it.

Ekta always wanted to cast Raj-Surv and it is not a bad idea, it would happen back in 2004 but universe made Ekta wait 🤣, but anyway she fulfilled her wish. I still feel that Ekta might just cast Raj-Aamna again for her web shows, internet might crash if it happens 😆

I remember there was a show called Kasturi which also seemed like a copy of Kahi Toh Hoga. Ekta keeps recycling her shows.

Also I can understand what you men by Kushal Tandon's acting. He is a pathetic actor who can't even say one dialogue without looking like a constipated robot.

I guess after KTH and the success that Sujal's character saw.. almost every couple shows on iTV would try to come up with a love triangle angle and have their ML projecting themselves as an Angry young man. I mean with Kasturi, she tried copying her own show😆 I forgot that show existed.. I guess Karam Apna Apna, Kasamh Se.. all had such tracks.

Between 2010-2015, Gul had adopted the same tactic😆 Sar na pair samjh aata hai.. on why are her MLs always so angry, but they're angry bas.

I just never understood Ekta's and Gul's fascination with these Mills and Boon kind of love stories, once or twice is fine but they keep repeating them in almost all their shows. And surprisingly they all work.
