Raavi crossed another day on her calendar. It has been 2 weeks. Two weeks since Shiva came home totally drunk. Two weeks since he started behaving too softly with her. And two weeks since she saw her Shiva. The Shiva who had always been wild, untamed, passionate and intense. She doesn't like this modified Shiva a bit.
Oh no her Shiva's not completely lost, he's just lost for her. He's the same to the whole family but when it comes to her he has started behaving like Dev. And she hates it to the core. She sat down on her bed frowning slightly as she remembered an incident which happened 2 days ago. Some of her friends came to her house along with Sneha and Raavi was furious because she doesn't want any of them to say anything to Shiva but then Shiva entered the hall in all the style and new clothes and her friends were dumbstruck. They all praised Shiva on his manners and Sneha looked ashamed but she hated all of it. Because she doesn't want her friends to see Shiva like this. He doesn't have to fake his identity.
In fact when one of her friends called her she actually asked her that how she could marry such a man. Her friend asked her that Shiva is so calm and level headed, how the hell could she not get bored with this man. And Raavi laughed out loud at the irony of the situation. Her Shiva is not calm, he's a lion. He has never been level headed, he's intense and her angry young man.
Now she and Dev are invited in their college reunion party tomorrow along with their partners. She doesn't want Shiva to behave like this. She wants Shiva to be himself and she has no idea how to do that.
Raavi!! Tum soyi nahi abhi tak??
Raavi gritted her teeth as she heard Shiva's soft voice. Honestly, she's feeling like hitting his head with something strong so that he could forget the words Sneha spurted that day and the words he read in her diary.
She wants her Shiva back.
Her breath stuck in her throat as she realized what she just thought. Her Shiva?? She looked up at her husband and he sat beside her and frowned slightly as he picked up a book and laid down on the bed while reading it. Raavi huffed irritated and laid down on her side of the bed. She's going insane officially.

Shiva shook his head as he saw his wife sleeping with her back towards him. He knows he's not right for her but he does his best to behave like a man she always wanted for herself.
Even though he doesn't want to go to her reunion party but he has to. He put down his book and closed his eyes drifting off to sleep.
Next when he opened his eyes he saw Raavi sleeping peacefully beside him. He got up as he saw the time and came out of his room. He has planned to attend the shop for a while.
Shiva's eyes widened as soon as he saw one of Raavi's friends entering the shop as soon as he reached the store. What's going on??
Aap yaha??
Shiva asked confused and saw the girl looking at him tensed. He just can't understand why. He has started wearing t-shirts and shirts for the shop now.
Bura mat maan na Shiva, but mujhe nahi lagta tum Raavi ko deserve karte ho.
Shiva looked down at her words. He took a deep breath and gave her a sad smile. He just doesn't understand what people want from him.
Raavi bhale hi kuch bhi kahe but main jaanti hu wo jo bhi karti hai poori shiddat se karti hai. Hum hamesha sochte the ki uski shaadi aise insaan se hogi jo uske liye pagal Hoga. You know, wild intense and passionate. But tum to kuch jyada hi tamed ho. Tum Raavi ko suit nahi karte Shiva.
Shiva tried not to roll his eyes at whatever she said. He's too confused now. But he knows what Raavi wants and he'll behave like this only. He shrugged and asked her friend if she wants something and started doing his work as Raavi's friend left the store with a disappointed look. Shiva looked up as he heard his brothers laughing at something and saw them looking at him only. He raised his eyebrows and saw Gaumbi smirking at him.
Shiva?? Aur tamed?? Ajkal logo ko kuch jyada galatfehmiya nahi ho gayi hain tere baare me??
Shiva smiled slightly at his brother's question and shrugged lightly. Raavi's friends are seriously confused. One thinks that he's too wild and the other thinks that he's too tamed. Well, honestly, now that he think about it, a tamed Shiva is the worst thing he ever heard. He's not tamed, he would never be. But he's doing this for Raavi, a girl on whom he has been forced. If only she would leave him, then everything would be alright.
Both Shiva and Dev came home around 3'o clock as they have to leave for the party at 4 pm. Shiva entered his room only to stop in his tracks as he saw Raavi struggling with the zip of her off shoulder gown. As always she's looking ethereal. Shiva sighed and looked away from her. It hurts to even think that he can't even love his own wife. But she's not his wife by her own will.
Sorry!! Main apne kapde leke jaata hu. Washroom me change kar lunga.
Shiva told her in a soft voice and almost ran out of the room after taking his clothes. Its really weird to feel embarrassed in front of Raavi but that's what happens when you read someone's personal diary without their permissions.
Finally Shiva came out of the washroom and moved towards his room but then he frowned as he saw Dev sitting on the couch all tensed. What's wrong with him now??
Oye!! Tu yaha kyu baitha hai?
Shiva asked and Dev looked at him startled but then he relaxed slightly and Shiva waited for him to say something.
Wo Rishita zidd leke baithi hai ki hum chaaro bikes se nahi balki car se jaaye.
Shiva rolled his eyes at Dev's problem. What's the big deal?? If Rishita bhabhi really wants to go in a car just today, then it's actually fine. It's Dev's college and he knows she wants to make an impression on everyone. Shiva nodded at Dev and hired a car for the day from his dealer.
Yaar Shiva, tu badal gaya hai.
Shiva raised his eyebrows at Dev as soon as he said that.
Humara wala Shiva aisa nahi tha. Usey iss duniya ki baaton se koi farq nahi padta tha.
Shiva sighed at Dev's words. He's right though. Shiva never cared for the world but now he's not alone. Someone else's name will be ruined if he behaves like himself.

Shiva looked up startled and his breath almost hitched in his throat as he saw his wife coming out of their room. She's looking beautiful. But then Shiva looked away from her and smiled at Rishita as she looked at him stunned. Why is she looking at him like this??
This is not fair Shiva.
Shiva looked at Rishita amused as soon as she asked that. What's not fair?? What is she talking about??
Kya hua Rishita bhabhi?? Ab to maine aapki car bhi mangwa di.
Shiva said and saw her frown turn into a huge smile. But then she looked at Dev and then at him with a frown again. He just can't understand this woman ever.
Ye koi baat nahi hoti Shiva. Tum Dev se acche kaise lag sakte ho??
Shiva chuckled slightly at Rishita's pout and saw Dev rolling his eyes. They all came out of the house as they heard the car's horn. Shiva took the keys from the boy and indicated everyone to sit in the car. Shiva sighed as he started driving towards Dev's college. It's time time to face the music.

Raavi gritted her teeth as Shiva moved away to talk to Dev's friends again. He has been doing that since last half an hour. Even though Shiva didn't come to this college yet all of Dev's friends know him and either they came to talk to him or he moves to them. It's as if she doesn't even exist for him. He even smiled at Rishita but he doesn't even have time to look at his own wife.
Raavi!!
She turned around only to see Sneha standing in front of her. She took a deep breath and glared at her. Everything was going smoothly before this girl decided to insult Shiva and now she can't even find her Shiva in this sophisticated man who now lives with her.
I am really sorry Raavi. Mujhe nahi pata tha Shiva aisa ho jayega.
Raavi looked at Sneha confused as she heard her. What is this girl talking about?? Raavi narrowed her eyes as she saw Shiva coming towards her. She swear if this Sneha tried to insult Shiva one more time then she'll kill this girl here and now, friend or no friend. But then a girl came and stand in front of Shiva and Raavi stiffened as Shiva smiled looking at her. What the hell!!
Raavi clenched her fists tightly as they both hugged each other. She turned around unable to watch him this free with someone else. Raavi blinked her eyes to stop her tears as she realized that she's just a responsibility to Shiva. He's not happy with her, he doesn't even look at her. And why would he be happy?? She's not his choice.
She stormed towards a corner and sat on a chair trying to calm herself but flinched slightly as she felt someone touch her shoulder. She looked up and saw Dev sitting beside her. What is he doing here now??
Raavi!! Kya hua hai?
Raavi shook her head slightly and told Dev to go to Rishita as she was standing alone. As soon as Dev left they started playing a soft song and the couples started dancing on the floor. She got up from the seat and looked for Shiva only to see him dancing with the same girl. She remember the girl now. That girl is Dev's friend and had always harboured a crush on Shiva. She gritted her teeth as she saw Shiva laughing at something she said.
Her blood boiled at the way they're dancing. He never saw where she is. Does he even care?? In her anger she accepted the dance request without even watching the man and regretted it immediately, for it was Vishal, the same man who claimed to be madly in love with her 2 years ago. And she refused his proposal because she was apparently in love with Dev.
Oh yes!! She's not in love with him, she never was. She had a dream of a perfect life with her perfect Prince Charming, but now living that life from last 2 weeks is suffocating her. Her friend was right. A man like Dev would never be able to handle her. She's too wild at heart to want a calm and peaceful love. She needs a man who's her equal. Who can fight back when she's angry. She looked up and saw Shiva's eyes at her but it's not the eyes of the stranger who was living with her from last 2 weeks. It's the eyes of her Shiva. She could see he's furious and that girl is trying to gain his attention but he's continuously glaring at her.
She took a deep breath smiling slightly and tried to move away from Vishal only to be stopped by his hand on her waist. She looked up ready to fight but he pulled her too close to him and Raavi's throat constricted in fear. No!! She's not scared of this Vishal, she's scared of her Shiva's wrath. She looked around and saw everyone looking at her and Vishal with a slight smile. They had no idea what could happen. She saw her friends looking towards somewhere confused and she followed their sight only to see Dev and Rishita trying to hold back Shiva.
She tried to wriggle out of Vishal's hold but his hold tightened even more and she winced at the pain that shot through her waist. His grip is hurting her now.
Come on Raavi!! Ek dance ki hi to baat hai. I am sure tumhare simple and sophisticated husband ko koi problem nahi hogi.
Raavi gaped at Vishal at his audacity and looked towards Shiva only to see him looking at Vishal stunned but then all of Dev's friends burst out laughing and she gulped nervously as Shiva smirked before walking towards them. Shit!!
Raavi ke dance karne se mujhe koi problem nahi hai.
Raavi sighed nervously as Shiva removed Vishal's hands easily from her waist and she shivered at the way Shiva put his hand around her waist. She saw Vishal looking at them confused and tried not to smile at Shiva's grip on her waist. He's back. And this time she'll make sure that he will stay with her, for the whole life.
Bas partner sirf main rahunga.
Shiva said in firm tone and Raavi looked down with a slight smile as Dev's friends started hooting. The song started again and this time all the couples joined them on the floor. Raavi grabbed Shiva's shoulder tightly as he put both of his hands around her waist and pulled her close to him. Her eyes filled with tears as soon as she looked in his eyes.
I am sorry Raavi. I know mujhe control karna chahiye tha khudko. I know tumhe accha nahi laga hoga mera behaviour, I am really sorry.
Raavi rolled her eyes and put her head on his chest at his confused look. She's fed up of his act. She wants her Shiva with her. She closed her eyes smiling as his grip on her waist tightened slightly.

Raavi sighed and looked up at him annoyed at him. Enough is enough. Raavi moved back from him and stormed out of the hall towards the rehearsal hall. She can't handle this Shiva. She doesn't know how. She could fight with her Shiva, shout at him, but this Shiva is completely a stranger to her.
Raavi turned around startled as she saw Shiva entering the hall and closing the door. Her eyes flared at the way he stood there with a defeated look. Her Shiva has always been a hero, this is not him. She didn't want to live with this person when she fell in love with her wild, untamed man. Raavi sucked in a breath as her thoughts became clear.
She's in love, not fairy tale kind of love, but a love which encompasses you whole. With Shiva she has no fantasies of roaming around in rain but she wants to share his life, his dreams. She wants to be his love, his partner.
She stormed towards him and grabbed his collar tightly as he looked at her startled.
Meri baat dhyan se sunn Shiva.
Raavi said and saw Shiva looking at her almost curiously.
Mujhe na ye Shiva bilkul bhi pasand nahi hai.
She told him her thoughts and felt him stiffen slightly. She sighed as she realised that he took everything wrong, again.

Shiva looked down feeling his heart beats increasing. Dare he believe that she wants him as he is, rather than this sophisticated version of him? He came out of his thoughts as Raavi pulled his collar even more and Shiva frowned at her.

Shiva sucked in a breath at her words as well as her proximity. Does she even realize what her closeness does to him?

Shiva asked looking away for her eyes are captivating and he just can't afford to drown in them, at least not right now.

Shiva looked at Raavi stunned as she put her arms around his neck. He looked at her trying to find if she actually wants this aur is just trying to pacify him.

He asked as he didn't see any hesitation in her eyes but she just smiled at him.

Shiva's hands moved to her cheek on their own accord as he saw tears in her eyes. He wiped her tears softly and smiled as she closed her eyes.

Shiva closed his eyes as she put her forehead on his. A strange peace settled in his heart as he put his arms around her waist. He doesn't want to hope till he knows that she's choosing him.
Ye shaadi jabardasti ki thi Raavi, aur main nahi chahta ki tu apne sapno se compromise kare.
Shiva said moving slightly back from her to see her face and saw her smile softly with her eyes still closed.

Shiva shook his head at her words. What does she think he was doing since last 2 weeks??

Shiva said and tried not to smile at her stunned look.

Shiva told her pulling her more close to him and saw her grinning at him.

Shiva chuckled as she beamed at him. He missed this carefree Raavi. His Chipkali. He kissed her forehead softly unable to resist himself and heard her gasp. He looked down only to see her blushing profusely. The one thing that he absolutely hated was her wish to kiss Dev. He felt like killing his own brother. But Dev was right,, this is not his story, it has always been him and Raavi, and she belongs to him.
Filhal teri ek wish poori kar sakta hu main.
Shiva said as he saw some rain drops on the window. He pulled a confused Raavi out of the room and to the college's terrace. Raavi looked at him all excited seeing the rain in front of her and ran out while Shiva looked at her with a slight smile. She behaves like a child all the time yet she's beautiful.
Tera Shiva tujhe mubarak ho.
Shiva whispered in her ear and grinned as she turned to look at him in a daze. He pulled her to him by her waist and kissed her cheek softly. Her grip tightened on his shoulder as he traced his hand on her cheek to her neck and shoulder.

He lost all his thoughts as he heard her soft voice. He grabbed her face in both of his hands and did what he wanted to do from so long. He kissed her like never before. He wants to consume her, to drown her into him in such a way that she would never think about anyone but him.
He deepened the kiss even more as Raavi started responding to him. They both moved back as they felt breathless and Shiva smiled at her flushed face. She looks his.
He kissed her forehead again and she hugged him tightly. He's sure this life would be beautiful.
