As you have said so well there saath is the ultimate truth and this journey has neither been easy nor pretty or cliche. The most pious moment I felt has been the realisation that they want to be together and fight for there rights. They have always weighed there decision by viewing its emotional and moral aspect by keeping everyone above there own feelings and relationships.
This is why I often have to at the delusion of people when they say that imlie and Aditya have not thought of others and are being selfish. To be honest I am liking the strong side of there’s as mentioned in the update.
I don’t understand why people forget love comes in all shapes and sizes and can happen at any point. The reality that these two have realised, accepted and reasoned with this truth and have the ability to admit and correct this mistake shows the strength and faith they hold in each other.
The reality is no matter how much society grows in terms of wealth or education prejudice still remain and will never really go away. It sad to see but true as well that people judge when they have no concept of what they have been through. For me there firm resolve to be together proves that they are beyond what other see them as.
Sorry just because other feel they should separate doesn’t mean they have to follow after all they know the value of what they mean and bring to each other. It’s as lovers say in a sea of waves one can weather any storm as long as the soul shall rise. They have tried to part so many times but each time there longing has grown to respect and a resolve to finally admit that love did happen. And know there is no way they can look the other way when they know they cannot breath without the other.
It’s like the saying goes money can wash away a sin. Denial can remain thrive but a truth can never become holly unless washed off in gold. Wealth doesn’t bring class but once manners does. This is the self worth and side that Aditya has come to love of Imlie that she has the ability to see the beauty even in the darkness when Maline has never really bother too. She respected him, his family and there wishes including that of Maline and her family and in return never asked for anything accept for there love.
For why do they forget imlie had her own wishes and dreams as did he. They didn’t chose to be married out of choice but were forced too. Unlike Dev whom everyone is giving a free pass too was married, had a child and knew he was playing with a woman feelings. Never cared to look back but because has a tag of money and marriage can walk around like he is holly as devout. What rubbish this way he should be told to leave it all behind. The prime example shown and said by Aditya is that he is not him and he has no fear to own his truth correct his mistake and apologise for the wrongs he has done. He has done that with each person starting with imlie, her family, Maline and know his own.
It was they whom then hid behind lies so why is he to be punished when they cannot accept what the truth really is. There denial to accept and correct there mistakes proves they never wanted to do so to begin with. Dev never wanted to be her father and only wants to be ride of the guilt by throwing money at it just so his first child can have the love he believe she deserves and his her right.
This is why they didn’t fear the reveal of the truth or the reality of what they may have to face because like you said escapism was never there truth. It was simply they didn’t want to disappoint or hurt the people they loved.
Whereas others have simply used information to there advantage even when it was neither there truth to share to start with. At each time to okay the victim and up there own social standing.
