Omg! I can imagine that. It takes away your whole piece of mind when you are a fur parent, especially that of a cat. My heart leaps to my throat every time my kitty leans down the balcony 🤦🏻‍♀️ My poor husband once extricated her from the parapet beneath the kitchen window because she looked so lost and was meowing. It was far more risky for him to do that than for the kitty. Later, we found out that she could climb out on her own perfectly 🤔 Ours is a close knit society building, so we let our cat out to chill with the neighbour’s cat in the hall everyday 😆

I wake up in the middle of the night and go check on all three of them to make sure they’re still alive (paranoid x 100). I also won’t leave the house until I do a headcount because I’m traumatised by the idea of one of them escaping.

One of my cats had escaped the house and went missing for 13-14 hours. I was a sobbing screaming mess. I was looking for him outside until 3am, screaming his name through a whole load of tears and snot lol. Found the little fcuker chilling in my neighbours backyard. I was standing on a chair and half hanging off the fence trying to lure him to come to me, worried that the neighbour would wake up and call the police after seeing a person hanging over their backyard at 3 in the morning 😆

When we brought him home. He just sat like a king and fell asleep, not giving a single shit that my whole face was swollen and that I had aged at least 100 years overnight. 😒😒
