My Views on Colors GRP TRP this week
1) SSK2 is here for long time. I see it as an underdog. High chances it may reach 1.2-1.3 in near future. Its like Like it hate it but cannot ignore it types.
SSK2 will go off air within 3 months if it doesnt perform well. Everything depend on its performance. Currently shaadi track chal raha hai which is why its getting all the attention.
2) Udaariyan is right now taking time to stabilize the newlt found audience with a relatable track where Ex lovers are making each other jealous to show who has moved on from each other. So probably Udaaariyan can go near 1.7 or 1.8 soon if there is some major twist.
Udaariyaan is getting high trps right now but when ZMGA will begin its magic it will be hard for Udaariyaan to bring 1.7/1.8 trps. Mujhe bhi Udaariyaan bohot pasand hai but i am just stating the facts. Udaariyaan need to bring a solid track to stay intact.
Also there was no merger at all with SSK2
3) CS just needs that push which is need of hour. The leap will work if planned better as PS is just 0.4 points away so not a big deal. I would say CS still has a better story than YRK KB KDB SNS2 combined together. So the channel dynamics are to be blamed instead of show.
Shaadi Mubarak was 0.3 points away to become slot leader from CS but it didnt become because the story got confusing. The problem with CS is right now time leaps are hardly working. 3 weeks passed KKB is yet not able to get 2+. So this push to CS maybe temporary. And also i am not in support of CS leap i feel its a destruction of a good story nothing else.
4) Shakti needs to go off air now as it has got 1000 episodes mile stone too and its story is done and dusted. Colors need to bring a traditional family show with RomCom features for this slot

5) BB is also here to stay so once the actual story of Bondita Anirudh starts it will pick up pace soon.
It wont pickup until Bondita and Anirudh get married.
6) Namak Pinjara are gona cases so they need to go off air right now.

7) Bawra Dil reaching 0.9 is good sign but still not great for 9:30 Slot so before Sahiba Muslim show comes this will stay on air

8) Molkki is Ekta show and it will stay till all stories are explored.
Umm. There's a catch. Molkki is above 170+ episodes so within 30-40 episodes it may just end if the trps continue to be 1.2.
From this week Colors gonna score more as now it has two Non Fiction shows in Weekend.

GRP wise too there is significant growth week after week. I remember few weeks back Colors having 120 something GRP.
GRPs are increasing.
I feel once BB15 approaches Colors will deffo be near 180 GRP something.
New concepts are not tried bcz Colors is aware that whats working these days. Fact that divorce drama EMA is working so to compete bringing BV2 type shows is much better deal.
No Akash Colors is not at aware of what is working these days. Ghum got 3.2 trps this week because last week was highly light hearted which means comedy and light hearted content working and not EMA stuff. BV2 may fail like Namak if the subject is serious and uninteresting as well as boring, if light hearted then its a maybe.
