Now the thing is when high budget shows are given primetime and if they work well they run for longtime, if they work decent they have a 180-200+ short run but if they dont work they are immediately pulled off because prime time slots are costly for producers to afford.

SAAKK got off air because firstly less trp and secondly high budget which was making things terrible. Now if you notice Udaariyaan is also a costly show whose shoot location is punjab so it got non primetime. When Udaariyaan wasnt doing well initially there were off air rumours that Udaariyaan will go off air because the high cost and all was adding to the already less trp problem but now when Udaariyaan is grewing well everything is going great. So the thing is channels mostly give high budget daily shows at early primetime or late night and low budget daily shows at primetime. There are few cases only where very high budget shows got primetime for example KHKT, Naamkaran etc etc.

See, the competition of BB is Imlie and TMKOC and it needs to get atleast 2+ to sustain otherwise it will be butchered to get higher numbers and will be axed. I think according to current Colors TV standard fiction shows getting 1.5+ is good.2+ TRP toh abhi Rangu ka koyi bhi fiction show nahi laa raha even it's TRP topper or Ist fiction show Udaariyan is not getting 2+ TRPs so channel kyu 2+ TRP expect karega BB se but it is definitely expecting atleast 1.5+ TRP from BB post leap.Waise abhi danger zone or scanner mein BD, Molkki, Shakti, PKK and NIK hai since all these shows are getting below below 1,1.1+ and 1.2+ TRPs as compared to BB.I think next week BB ki TRP will increase and it may soon get 1.5+ TRP with marriage track or other tracks 👍🏼.

My Views on Colors GRP TRP this week

1) SSK2 is here for long time. I see it as an underdog. High chances it may reach 1.2-1.3 in near future. Its like Like it hate it but cannot ignore it types.

2) Udaariyan is right now taking time to stabilize the newlt found audience with a relatable track where Ex lovers are making each other jealous to show who has moved on from each other. So probably Udaaariyan can go near 1.7 or 1.8 soon if there is some major twist.

Also there was no merger at all with SSK2

3) CS just needs that push which is need of hour. The leap will work if planned better as PS is just 0.4 points away so not a big deal. I would say CS still has a better story than YRK KB KDB SNS2 combined together. So the channel dynamics are to be blamed instead of show.

4) Shakti needs to go off air now as it has got 1000 episodes mile stone too and its story is done and dusted. Colors need to bring a traditional family show with RomCom features for this slot

5) BB is also here to stay so once the actual story of Bondita Anirudh starts it will pick up pace soon.

6) Namak Pinjara are gona cases so they need to go off air right now.

7) Bawra Dil reaching 0.9 is good sign but still not great for 9:30 Slot so before Sahiba Muslim show comes this will stay on air

8) Molkki is Ekta show and it will stay till all stories are explored.

From this week Colors gonna score more as now it has two Non Fiction shows in Weekend.

GRP wise too there is significant growth week after week. I remember few weeks back Colors having 120 something GRP.

I feel once BB15 approaches Colors will deffo be near 180 GRP something.

New concepts are not tried bcz Colors is aware that whats working these days. Fact that divorce drama EMA is working so to compete bringing BV2 type shows is much better deal.

So it means :-

If a show is by a wealthy producer and its a high budget show then it will get primetime. (Fewer cases).

If the show is by a new/unpopular/barely known producer and the show is high budget then it will get early primetime / late night slot.

If the show is by a new/unpopular/barely known producer and the show is low budget then it will get primetime slot.

By high production values like wardrobe, cinematography, picture quality, presentation, little bit class and grandeur and also set designs etc. Like Mehendi and SAAKK are high budget because their ph values are higher.

ZMGA ka ph value high hai because they have more than 2 sets. One is Sakhuja house, two is Amrita's parents house which is the exterior of KHKT's sippy mansion.

Udaariyaan me most of artist punjab se hi hai except few toh unke rehne peene ka kharcha bhi inhe nhi uthana padta

Plus all comes from punjab so they are not taking any high fees unlike mumbai based actors

Udaariyaan ke sets bhi kaafi cheap lagte hai as its real location nd upar se usko build karne ka kharcha nhi nd rent bhi mumbai se kam

High budget unki cast kitni well known hai , plus production quality kitni classy hai , styling kaisi hai , sets kaise hai inse pata chalta hai

SAAKK me side actors dekho kaafi well known hai like shaurya ki chachi , chacha etc sabhi kaafi well known actora hai

Sets dekho , costumes dekho everything looks expensive

MHRW is not very expensive ulta kaafi cheap hai thats sandip agreed for 6:30pm

and mujhe bass iss channel ke liye soft corner tha because it's GRP decreased

and 2018-19 mein maine maximum shows issi ke dekhe the so

waise sach mein jo channel accha content layega usse support 👍🏼

I really don't mind this channel GRPs falling
