It is fun to walk in the rains, even if things will become dirty..it worths it. 😃

Here in Aden we have windy weathers in July and August. I love it , coz it throws things in the air which is funny to watch. Yesterday it became embarassing when I was out, coz I couldn't walk , and keep my hijab and burqa in tact.😳

The school I was in was poor n had nothing to offer. So it was just classes n go home. No sports, nothing. I had to play sport outside of school. Find local teams etc.

The worst yrs of my life were high school years. They were straight up terrible. I hated every minute of it.

Also I never paid attention in high school so my grades were never good. I barely used to pass classes, at points. It was by choice though. Once I realized the mess I had gotten myself into because of terrible grades, with regards to college admissions. I actually started trying n would get phenomenal grades everyone was surprised n suspicious 😆. They would keep an extra eye on me to be sure.

I am impressed by your struggle story. Masha Allah, you are brave.

You've been through lots, and I feel that life was offered to me by spoon . I pray that from now on you just find success and happiness.

I've always been a topper in my studies. But my health wasn't good. I am surprised now that how can somrone's life change drastically after a period of time. Coz in the first 30 years of my life I was lucky in life..studies , job and my parents are with me.. but my health was my biggest weakness, and it started affecting me mentally too.😒

But after that things changed.. my ambition faded.. I setelled down , had kids, and became more healthy .😳 Alhamdulillah.

Yeah that's basically what I'll do. Just keep going and going. Over here Dunkin is almost always owned by someone Desi and they are always looking for people 😆

I'm sorry to hear that. I liked high school but at the same time the pandemic did ruin my last year because I had the same lunch period with my 2 best friends and we never went online. And on top of that it rained on my graduation day 🤣. But I'm excited for college cause it's in person and I'm vaccinated so I feel safe.

I sometimes think these colleges just choose random people for admission because I know people that had few D's but were in extracurriculars and got in. I guess sometimes the essay also helps too. That was sooo stressful too. Thinking of the topic was the hardest part.

I want to experience monsoon weather. It seems so pretty

Where I live we barely have summers. Extreme hotness at maximum in July while Aug-Sep will be 16-26 celsius. I love wind though. The breeze is best 😆

Yea my earlier yrs were very tough. But things did get better as I was in college. Now I have a better life. Honestly it all feels like a dream. It has gotten so much better. I’m always thankful for allah for helping me soo much. Alhamdulilah.

Although I’m always worried, one day it will all come crashing down. Cause I have never been so happy n satisfied in my life ever. I feel one day it will all crash I will be back to where I was.

I think as long as u r happy and satisfied with ur life, ambitions don’t matter. Not everyone wants to be best in the world and that is ok. If u are happy then every thing is good.

My college didn’t request an essay 😆. It basically took any n everyone. It wasn’t a bad college though. I guess I was lucky in tht sense.

Sry to hear for ur graduation day being ruined. See I would’ve been happy if my graduation day didn’t happen😆

by my house also there is a dunkin. It is also owned by a desi person.😆 Although he is never really hiring. I was on a road trip last week n stopped at this McDonald’s and saw they were hiring people n even offering signing bonus😲. I was like I never got a signing bonus at my job😡😆

I guess they are in desperate need of workers. Their jobs r tough honestly. I wish them all luck.

We don't get rains for whole year.😆... 5-6 months we do get rains mostly, Starts in June and continues till oct - Nov.

I am not able to travel due to covid, so no chance of experiencing rains this year as well😥

Covid again. I am sick of it. I am praying for it to fade soon, so ppl can resume their lives normally. 😊 Here in our country none cares about it. We live normally, but we only fear this war and poorness which spreeds faster than any other desease.😒
