Body double for hug scene

Show didn't even completed atleast a year we already got body double for intimate scenes. Ml hugging fl emotionally on her birthday. Such an important scene but ruined it by body double. Let's not even talk about the name sake dance where 2ft distance was mandatory. The morning scene when virat going for mission is the last time when I get couple vibes from sairat. Now all I'm seeing is a guardian trying to make a girl birthday special in order to fill her father's absence. Don't need intimate scenes to get couple vibes. But here from dialogues to scenes sairat bond looks more of a platonic rather than husband wife.

To be honest.

I have always felt that and that's why I feel frustrated.I mean the only reason that we are investing our time and effort is all because of sairat and they are literally putting no effort it.

For example if you compare today's performance with the dance performance on Samrat's Haldi where virat danced on Badtameez dil and he imagined pakhi dancing with him.They almost had the same steps but you can see and feel the intimacy and chemistry between them as a viewer,which to be honest I didn't find in the college fest episode too even though the episodes were very good.

Also I feel since last few episodes they have been maintaining distance between them . Todays episode I felt ridiculous as it didn't look like a husband celebrating with his wife ,but like a guardian taking care of a girl.

I don't know ,may be I have too much high expectations.😣😣😣😣

Body double is there for half hug only. Not for the full one if I am not wrong. Body doubles will be used for various reasons and in BTS we see Sai’s body double present ..As for the dance we should not forget that they are not husband and wife in true sense as yet. Virat realised Sai is on her way . It can not be cosier and intimate specially before family members. Sai Virat love Story is not like other love stories of ITV . So the vibes will be different here.

I notice that too..i have no complain for dance cause no matter what it was real neil..if they are together then thats not necessary for me that they need to do close dance..but for hug scene using body double ruined whole emotional connection for me..It's looked so obvious that they aren’t together so i can't feel the emotions properly.. Actor did their best but it looked unpleasant to think of that they aren’t actually together and just shooting with some other random people..i am totally pissed off they did this to such an important emotional scene..😠

From whatever I understood both ML and FL had body doubles. It was better if they cut that scene then also the episode had continuity.

I never blame any actor.In recent virat pakhi handholding also actors done their job ,it was in their script so they acted, and acting from ML made scene watchable, he never given the vibe he is interested in pakhi.

Another recent scene where virat break the hug I didn't understand where pakhi was standing. Serious editing issue to be pointed out.As far as I know person on stage will not have side views .The sides of stages will not be kept open, if it is an open stage they will use curtains.

If we look sairat dance sequence ( virat's imagination) despite the dance being wonderful the editing was flawed.

Some of the early GC scenes(not including safe house) it too had editing issue but only visible if we rewatch7-8 times.Sometimes I feel NB is bashed unnecessary when it is a mistake of editor or director.

The writers are also responsible to an extent they try to force love triangle which never existed into audience. The show has good cast (exception is there)but the techical team is too lazy(they can give good scenes examples are there) and editing is pathetic .Loved the story upto now except harini track but forcing love triangle is out of place.but seriously want to say looking upon direction quality it doesn't look like top 2nd show

You know at the very end of the hug scene, Neil and Ayesha are back - side by side. So I think the original scene was probably just Virat interrupting her. The hug and tear wiping might have been an after-thought - and was shot hurriedly.

How lazy of makers to think fans would be okay with such scenes. How they thought using body double for leads intimate scenes would be okay for fans. Even trp audience can guess easily they used body double. Why would they do such things where their professionalism can be questioned. The contrast between virat pakhi scenes & sairat scenes is too evident to ignore now especially in terms of editing & proximity.

I wouldn't read too much into it. Because more than an intimate scene, it was a powerful emotional scene - and Neil and Ayesha not shooting together failed to create an impact. On top of that was the horrendous choice of body double for Neil and sloppy, sloppy editing. I haven't seen such bad production value in a StarPlus show ever.
