Shiva return scene
Shiva knocks and Dhara’s whole face, her whole being lights up. She is happy. She runs excitedly to open the door and see him standing there. There is relief and happiness in her eyes. Finally her third bandar is home. And when children are safely tucked in the houses, parents feel relieved and happy. Same goes here. She questions him like a parent and he hides his face and make sure she doesn’t smell his breath. She understands in a moment that something is wrong. Her smile withers away. She questions him her doubts and his unsure steps and heavy voice gives him away. (KD and his acting🤣 again! Yes I know but u can’t blame me folks!)
Point to be noted, Shiva, even in his inebriated state knows that she will be displeased and trying to avoid this altercation. He wants to move away from her because he doesn’t want her disappointed or upset with him. He knows she hates it and he has still done it. He knows this will anger her and he tries to slip away so there is no major showdown. Never gonna happen. She is Dhara.
Everything descends to chaos.
Dhara pulls him nearer and smells him. She sees his totally inebriate state and begins to descend into hysterics. She questions him if he is not ashamed of it. And right now she is gentle. She cups his face and questions him regarding this. Second by second we see her losing control over herself. She is going totally panicky. She is questioning him how he could drink. His state is making the matters worse.
Gautam sees the scene and shakes his head. He is not angry (Kinshuk’s acting. Clear and to the point. Can see each emotion play out marvelously). He is fed up. He avoided drinking at Hardik’s place to avoid this exact scene but here is his baby bro and he has push his efforts in drain. He needs to handle this and soon. And just like he told Hardik he knows Dhara is gonna go ballistic. Somnath ki gali gali mein daudayegi. Poora talli.🤣 and the expressions were totally on point.
Shiva tries to calm her down even in the state. Sorry kaka sorry bhabhi. I love you bhabi. Trying to calm her down. He knows he is at fault. But he has dine it now. He just wishes his bhabhi is not upset. Dhara is still gentle. Questioning him. She wants an answer. She knows he is not someone who drinks. She knows something must have pushed him to. So she questions him.
“Sharaab pee kar kyun aaya hai Shiva?” She is worried something has happened. And his silence on this ques is slowly frustrating her. She is descending into fury now. If he had told her anything then she would have heard. Because she is worried. It can be seen in the way her eyes are wide in concern and anger. She just wants an answer.
The increasing shouts prompt Gaumbi into action. He looks out to see if anyone saw this. He is worried that this will cause a scene outside and inside. He brings their mother in and Dhara hits Shiva then. She has finally lost it. She wanted an answer, a reason for this action. He gives none. She is too concerned with the way he is being right now. And that promptly brings her anger in. (Unlike the danda thingy. I don’t think the danda will be repeated)
People are hating on her and saying ki she is being totally cuckoo for behaving that way. What if she brought them up? This is not the way u question him when he is not in his senses. I beg to differ.
She has brought them up with too much love and utmost care. Yes they are married. But does that mean she is free of her responsibility for them? I really din like that danda incident. I saw her fault there. But here?
When someone u adore to insanity, someone you have brought up with this much devotion that u decide to postpone ua own fam for them, for their good upbringing, someone you wear on you head like a pride, someone who is the crown to your queen, someone you have painstakingly instilled ua basic values in, suddenly breaks your pride, you do not wait for the dawn to rise, you react! If she had waited for him to be sober I would have actually questioned her. She is not written that way. She is written like a mother. And mothers question first and then coddle later.
Gaumbi, who drinks sometimes reacted that way because to him it was all right. It was normal. He just doesn’t want to hurt Dhara but drinking sometimes is ok to him so he is fine with letting Shiva go so he can cool down and they can question him tomorrow. Because he knows that at this time Shiva will reveal nothing. He is not in the state.
Dhara doesn’t! Dhara sees this as a crisis. She hates this thing and she has brought her kids up to hate it and one day the most beloved of her sons return home in a state where he isn’t able to walk properly or even speak coherently. Do u expect her to stay calm and coddle him and take him to his room? No! She is worried. She asks him the reason. She understood there is something. But what? She is panic struck and she cannot let this go. So she holds on to Shiva and questions again. She is infuriated at this. The parents have this esteem thingy. When u specially tell ua kids to not do something and they still do it, its like a blow to their upbringing and it is hurtful. Dhara is swinging in that state. And I am sure each of our moms would react this way if and when we do something they special brought us up to think as wrong.
And then this happens-
Bhabhi ne humen pala hai black color kaala hai
Shiva is just making it worse. Hilarious I know. But making it worse. Gaumbi is watching the situation tumble out of control and he definitely wants to hit Shiva🤣. And Dhara is horrified at this. What happened to her serious disciplined angry but always in control Shiva?
