Gaumbi Hardik scene

This scene have given me so many insights. Not just about Hardik Gaumbi equation. First and foremost it tells us about Dhara and her dislike for alcohol. Gaumbi refuses because he is sure Dhara won’t like it. She will stand near the door with Danda he says. And hardik jokes but Gaumbi straightens him up that Dhara won’t leave him either. These some sentences lays the base that Dhara wouldn’t care about who have drunk, whether it is the calm Gaumbi or good hearted Hardik well educated Dev or simple hearted Shiva. Her reaction will be the same. Utter dislike.

The scene cane just before Shiva’s drinking scene shows us that the makers wanted to give a message through it. I say the message was about Dhara and her dislike for it. We wondered if Gautam Or Dev had done it then would it be the same? The answer I say is yes. It would be. For Dhara the alcohol is bad news whoever does the drinking is secondary. Alcohol can reduce even the most intelligent man to slobbering mess. It takes away the dignity of a person. Dhara doesn’twant that for her loved ones.

Second insight I got was- Gaumbi and Hardik are best of friends. To the extent that he can come back after going home just to put him to bed. Hehehe. It has happened before by the looks of Hardiks meek agreement. They are also very good friends because when hardik speaks to Gaumbi about the thing thats bugging him he does it totally non judgmentally with respect. Hardik is truly good hearted who cant see Dhara Gaumbi in pain. When he offers the money it is again with an ease devoid of any kind of negativity. Also he trusts Gaumbi with Dhara very much.

Third- It establishes the facts that we have already dissected. Hardik is one of the three men who will always stand by Dhara. They worry for her and they love her to the core. They can see through her well.

So thats it about this scene.
