@Bold: Married with two kids myself. I think in initial phase of a marriage, family interference always remains..but from what I have experienced, when you and the family gets the confidence..it starts to dwindle. I have never lived in a joint family and have been a very independent person myself. When you establish some boundaries and respect others boundaries too, I think it just becomes very mutual. Is it easy to do, no. Arguments,, conflicts and friction always prop up in any kind of relation dynamics. It is with age and education you learn to use the right words.

Having said that I think that any inherently good at heart person, will not be as vile as T's are being right now. And again I think that is where it is difficult for me to comprehend. Makers and script writers ki galti hai yeh toh. They are nice, they are shown to be nice and now the language they are speaking is nothing less of trash. They are an upper middle class family who probably have seen struggles themselves so their actions and the lingo they are using is what an inexperienced, nasty and un-polished person would speak. Has age and life not taught them anything? Is the first time they have seen a crisis? Oh well, jaane do yaar...T's ne itna hungama macha rakha hai ki haye tauba ho rakhi hai...😆 There are some other lovely things that the past episodes have reflected on- how the younger generation is more open minded and compassionate, Sundar's uncomplicated yet cherishable friendship with Imlie...and more so AKT being the voice of morality!

I am just seeing this as the representation of what probably still exists in some societies in India, a way to spice up the drama albeit in a very loud and sour way and get TRP, maybe! As for how this reflects on the next progression for Imlie- well sometimes you have get knocked down lower than you have ever been to stand up taller than you ever were...and that is probably what they are doing right now. Imlie will rise, has to rise!

@Bold2: Oh I will rejoice if that happens..but the director and the makers are now confused..p se progression dikhaya jaaye ya fir R se regression kyunki T se trp chahiye aur D se drama, Baki toh T's ko GMO ingredients bana rakha hai...toh organic ki toh lagi padhi hai! P se platonic ka toh bol bala hai hi! 😆

Well being a fellow married lady myself since a loong time, agree to everything that has been discussed. The benefit for me is that I have lived in a joint family and know that bahar se everything can look very rosy, but andar se there are a lot of issues that need to be adjusted with.

In terms of thinking, maybe growing up in this society, I have seen people like the T's so it is easier for me to digest all of this. These are nice, fun loving, upper middle class people, who will be very nice to the people who work for them, almost to the point as shown here. But even if they get a bhanak that their children are marrying someone who is of a lower caste or a lower strata, they cannot accept that in any way. For them it is easier to have pity and do nice things for people who are unfortunate, but having someone from their family marry such a person is unthinkable. That was why the reaction did not seem OTT to me. While their dialogues and the name calling disturbs me, it is not out of the ordinary. Their redemption will be long, but hopefully they show some level of remorse for what they put Imlie through this entire time.

While I was mad at not getting the continuity, the scene we got was very well done, though got lost in the drama that followed.😆

Haan hume criminal banne se bacha rahe hai makers, by slowly getting us used to not expecting continuity.😆

Haha yes! Same for everyone I guess.. I really liked Harish💔. That was the greatest disappointment! I guess we have to deal with it. And see how the writers are gonna justify the redemption track. That one is gonna be a toughy for them after this.

If they are gonna take it through some post NDE confrontation, sympathy and not as a realisation of the truth and feeling regretful for their actions..well I would say we have got no choice have we!? 😂😂 Imlie would forgive anyway 😅
