Actually Lot of Gujaratis stay abroad so whenever NRI comes in state... Government allow to sell alcohol to NRI Only with their passports as a proof of identity at Big hotels like Marriott/Hyatt . !

So whenever NRI comes in town , Local gujarati use them to purchase stock of Alcohol.. This is how they get it..! 😎

In short, Gujarat me pite toh bahot log hai but not on road..!

Due to this drinking habit also helps in making it a bit safer place to travel at night due to not having sharaabis lying anywhere on road.
