First we had a discussion about exercise clothes and the next day, we had Pallavi wearing them in the episode...

Then, we had a long discussion on Tejo in western dress and after some days, pics of Pallavi in western outfit pops up. 😆

And honestly, when I saw the pics for the first time, I thought ki kisi fan ka edit hoga but baad mein pata chala ki those pics werent edits... 😆

Agreed. Psycho villains/villains/grey characters actually have more range when it comes to acting. Bubbly/lively/carefree leads ho ya ITV ke usual ultra mahaan leads/noble idiots, they are always unidimensional.

In fact, I enjoy such characters in movies too... I just love SRK's acting in Darr, Ashutosh Rana in Sangharsh etc.

Playing a negative/dark character allows the actors to explore different genres and to test their skills... whereas all these positive characters are mostly unidimensional.

Playing such characters is definitely not an easy task... It is in fact much more difficult.

Bold: That scene... It still gives me goosebumps whenever I remember that. That scene was absolutely fantastic.

Also, an "Eunuch" is called a "Kinnar" in Hindi.

Even I tend to appreciate characters who have tough/traumatic scenes more... Bhale hi wo villains kyon na ho.

Same I tend to appreciate such characters more.

ITV has less of them, villains have mostly no reason to hurt the leads, some of them just plot to get a guy 🤪 Ready to commit murder

I was watching a turkish show. There were 4 mains: Cemre, Cenk, Ceren and Nedim.

Cemre and Ceren were sisters. Cenk and Nedim were cousins but actually half brothers. Cemre a qualified ambitious nurse who came to help handicapped, traumatised Nedim.

Ceren was a gold digger. She wanted to be rich therefore decided to trap playboy Cenk. She slowly fell for Cenk but Cenk liked the fiesty ambitious kind hearted fearless Cemre.

Ceren was manipulative, liar, married Nedim to become rich when Cenk's mother trapped her. She abused poor Nedim, had Cenk's child but the baby was taken away from her. She then was depressed, sad, in pain, traumatised. This part I found the actress so good, she had portrayed a variety of emotions in the show whereas Cemre was quite bland as the good girl.

If the FL is a little grey or flawed, I like it more provided she isn't annoying.

I sometimes get bored with the usual good girls, kindhearted, chirpy ones. If they are like this, they need to have an x factor.

oh gosh you watched zalim istanbul lol everyone on that show was mental lol and then they ended the show in such a rushed manner and it was like lets see who to kill in this episode lol cemre was so annoying lol i felt bad for nedim to get stuck with her but there was no other choice lol ceren was more fun but she was horrible as well lol cenk i think was an idiot till the last few epis lol nedim poor guy was so abused man. the mom was interesting though and she kinda guided a lot of the drama lol i hated the youngest siblings so annoying they were lol and the mom of the girls lol

Damla was a pain in the ass but she was a troubled child. Civan was just a love interest.

Such a dysfunctional family.

Yeah i watched bits of it i was like no wonder the name is zalim istanbul lol ceren and cenk actors were in another show together so they had chem too bad the whole story was a mess lol wish aga bey hadnt died he needed to blast all the crazies lol both families were so dysfunctional lol my parents are watching this dubbed on tv they are like these people are crazy lol

ask i memnu i watched when i would come into moms room lol she was watching it over and over lol she loved it coz of the locals coz we lived near those locations lol it was a very forward show lol but it was interesting i guess and had an apt ending lol i think itv made a remake version that got cancelled lol

kara para ask i liked the leads were annoying but the other characters were fun lol fatih lol its on netflix if you wanna watch again lol the show had romance, action, mystery etc it had a story well till the end which they ruined lol

omg kara sevda i tried to watch but i didnt like the actors lol the villain was good though lol i have seen him in ask 101 on netflix lol but then i read the ending lol so the kara sevda was between the ML and villain lol

ask i membu was like a warning dont marry a beautiful young woman lol i never watched the show fully saw scenes here and there whenever my mom was watching lol she loved it lol

kara para had a mystery but once it got solved it was dragged too many jail scenes lol nilu had stockholm for sure and somehow she and kookey fatih made it lol

its like fatmagul when the main plot was reaching its climax they dragged it more with the fiance guy lol

yeah ask 101 is nice new season coming soon too. kaan was good as emir lol and i laughed when i read the reactions of fans at the end of kara sevda lol true love of emir and kemal lol
