Now that was a show. I must say the crime fiction+ the inter woven story of the characters are very well written. But then like with every star plus show....they shut shop 😒

Haina! I used to watch that show so intently. I think it's one of the decent shows from ITV. It sounds like a stereotype but good shows don't last on ITV. I miss sarabhai so much 😭 and I absolutely love Criminal Minds.

But you need time to make good episodes. With six episodes in a week no surprise the quality isn't that good.

When I watched Beyhadh 2, I never cared about the couples as long as Maya served.

It was just amazing to watch Jennifer and Ashish to play their characters despite some plot holes and all.

I was really invested in the revenge story, the struggles of Maya and how vengeful and dark she became over the years.

I ❤️ criminal minds. Badass characters and good unsubs. And the quotes are awesome. Learnt a lot from those.

Beyhadh 2 idk could never invest much. I wanted to though. 😆

Criminal minds is love. And I absolutely loved that team. I wish we had women characters like that on ITV 😓 Btw if you liked that you may also like mindhunters. Amazing show

My main reason for watching Beyhadh 2 was Maya and her revenge... The extents to which she could go for her revenge attracted me to the show. I just loved her cold, calculative demeanor when she was laying out her plans and turning situations in her favour. And the scenes which showed her PTSD, how she was deeply affected by her trauma were also equally amazing.

Also, I have a special corner for her Bhagvad Gita references...

MJ Roy as a villain was definitely an equal to Maya... And Ashish with his acting and the script made the viewers absolutely hate his character, which was another great thing.

The couple was obviously a cherry on top for me...

Shivin and Jennifer had an amazing chemistry. And Ashish and Jennifer too shared a great chemistry.

I liked that she had a strong backstory and the performances and how Jenny portrayed young Maya's trauma

It was better than Beyhadh 1 anyway where the revenge seemed kind of force like she went psycho just like that

Sometimes I feel psycho villains or villains in itv have the more range in their acting compared to the same bubbly, lively, carefree leads.

I'm not saying playing these characters is easy especially when the actors' personality differ but as viewers, I get to see more.

So I definitely enjoyed watching Jennifer. There was this scene where she is in the mud, she is traumatized and gets saved by the I don't know how they call them in hindi.... 😥😥

I've noticed I tend to appreciate actors who have tough, traumatic scenes more even if they play a completely negative villain.

Agreed. Psycho villains/villains/grey characters actually have more range when it comes to acting. Bubbly/lively/carefree leads ho ya ITV ke usual ultra mahaan leads/noble idiots, they are always unidimensional.

In fact, I enjoy such characters in movies too... I just love SRK's acting in Darr, Ashutosh Rana in Sangharsh etc.

Playing a negative/dark character allows the actors to explore different genres and to test their skills... whereas all these positive characters are mostly unidimensional.

Playing such characters is definitely not an easy task... It is in fact much more difficult.

Bold: That scene... It still gives me goosebumps whenever I remember that. That scene was absolutely fantastic.

Also, an "Eunuch" is called a "Kinnar" in Hindi.

Even I tend to appreciate characters who have tough/traumatic scenes more... Bhale hi wo villains kyon na ho.
