Yahaan pe Raghav and Pallavi are actually equals. No mahaan ML or FL. Different shades of their character comes out depending on the situations they face. Na hamaari heroine superior character hai in this entire series,na humaara hero. Iss liye one-sided bashing doesn't make sense for this show at all. And I've personally come to terms with that. Ab kisiko lagta hai P should forget D fam and just focus on Raos,kisiko lagta hai R doesn't care for P at all, kyunki sabke apne apne expectations hai iss show se and show k character se.

Ab dekho na,kal hi ek post mili thi k Pallavi is so cold. Humne seriously na lene ki koshish ki par jiss ne post banaya that was seriously their opinion.

Aaj sab Raghav ko dho rahe hai coz Pallavi ka vulnerable side aaj sabko dikha. Ye unka opinion hai jisse hum disagree kar sakte hai,rant jar sakte hai par change nahi kar sakte.

I just get a little protective of them both yaar. Pallavi toh kabhi inke double standards par khari nahi utregi- when she's selfish, she's cold and unsympathetic to Raghav's struggles, when she's selfless, she's mahaan. But Raghav is also not being treated fairly by a lot of fans right now. There's this laser focus on whether or not he loves Pallavi, and he's being criticized for 'not deserving her' which is also unfair. There's a lot more going on which gets lost in this over simplification. We don't like Deshmukhs, we don't like Kirti- fine. But unke liye toh they're family na? Humare napasand karne se woh unhein chhod toh nahi sakte?

Now, I didn't agree with her actions then, because Sulo had already made a tamasha, Raghav had every right to respond the way he did, but let's not pretend the situations are similar at all. People's personal moral beliefs about whether life begins at conception or birth, abortion isn't a crime. There were no 'consequences' that Amrutha would get to avoid by Pallavi taking the fall. Here. Raghav is shielding Kirti from the law of the land for a crime that took someone's life.

And seriously, progressiveness ke jhande gaadna bohot pasand hai sabko, but we will hold it against a young girl to exercise her reproductive rights. We will hold it against a widow to have an attachment to her late husband after remarrying. Duniya aage nikal gayi, but TV yahin rahega humasha. Of course Star serves us regressive content- jab viewers ki hi soch nayi nahi hai, so why will they move ahead?

Exactly Ashi you made all my points. That comparison thing was really bothering me from yesterday. You just said all I wanted to say but refraining myself from it as I don't want to get into argument with some ppl.

@bold This is what makes me sad, ppl don't want to move ahead. Ppl claim that they are progressive but they don't to want to see that, they only want regressive content to be served.

Guys, the pro-life vs pro-choice debate is purely a genesis of the audience. In the episode there was nothing Raghav said that will make you feel like he equated both the incidences.

He just implied that Pallavi at one point was ready to save Amruta from defamation and in order to save Mansi’s marriage she did choose to stay quiet for some time. (This is true, I was miffed with Pallavi at that time plus Raghav’s name was also dragged and still she kept mum.)

He asked her how him choosing to protect his sister now makes him the villain. And though hard to understand, but I know where Raghav’s coming from.

but not even once he said that Amruta’ abortion fiasco and mandhar’s hit&run case were comparable! He just compared his and Pallavi’s zeal for safeguarding their family members.

It’s just the people who have jumped on many tangents around the circle!

That’s why I never read reviews before I watch the episode myself.

And since it’s all audience and nothing really happening on the show, I am not even going to spare as much as a reaction on any of these posts.
