Sai Bai you are the cutest dewdrop!
Its so sweet how Sai is waiting for her Virat Sir to wish her. But she is usually so mufhat snd spontaneous that she may have just yelled at him saying "you duffer, you forgot my birthday" but she is in yhat position where she expects Virat to remember but doesn't feel "haq" enough to actually tell him....
Its sweet how Virat despite the surprise planning is actually itching to wish her on the dot at 12.
Looking at the giftbox i am sure its a ring. He was down on one knee but then Sai caught him so he was pretending to do stretching. Lol. 😂😂😂
I'm shocked that despite seeing Sai get all senti looking at her aabas photo with tears he held himself back from giving her a big hug and wishing her.
That scene made me tear up.
Imagine this situation from her pov. She has literally no blood relatives. All she had was her aabaa. Her lifeline, her whole world. She was the apple of his eye. He was her everything. Khoon ka rishta is not everything but it is definitely something special. There is such a thing as a biological connection. Thats why a sibling or parent-child bond is always going to be irreplaceable. Thats why people often will do so much even for a dustant cousin, aunt/uncle because there is that sense of obligation of "khoon", "khandaan". Sai has never had that but she didn't bother because she had her father. And if all had been normal her marriage would've happened out of choice so even if 20-25 years later her father had passed from old age, she would have had her loving family/spouse. But now she has lost her father and here she feels so alone. She does have virat, aai, shivani, mohit, devkit who truly care about her but she still feels some hesitancy in really accepting them as her own due to the circumstances of her wedding. Sai is truly pulled between wanting to allow virat and his family to be her family too versus feeling guilty for imposing herself upon them all and distancing herself from them because she doesn't want "pity", doesn't want to be an imposition, a bojh...
She doesn't seem to have very close friends in GC or in her medical college too. I remember in school/college it would be my close school friends who would stay up to call at 12am. It was almost a measure of how close you were if someone took the effort to stay up n call/text at 12. Its a lil childish but it wasnt completely baseless. And in college, in hostels usually theres a birthday surprise thrown by friends....but Sai is missing out on all that. I know we will see the surprise party soon. But at this moment watching her feel as if no one remembers or knows her birthday and that no one cares is so heartbreaking.
And on top of that Sai is such a child at heart.♥️♥️♥️ So innocent. As i watched today, I just wanted to go into the screen and hug her tight n wish her a happy birthday.
I couldn't stop awwing at the way she asked aai if something special can be made for lunch, the way she used her geele baal to wake virat, hairdryer seh awaaz kiya, opened window to let the sunlight fall on him- all just to wake him up and remember her birthday but Virat stayed strong. Lol.
The way he woke up in a start as soon as he heard Sai was going somewhere- it was so funny. Sai caught jis acting but he covered up nicely.
Bechaari neh bahut koshish karli by asking about his birthday, talking about her aabaa and how he used to celebrate her birthday...but Virat neh bahut self control dikhaya. Sakht Launda toh yeh hai! but dil bahut naram hai humaare virat sir ka.
Precap shows Sai in a nice gown but lil too chamkila imo. I wish it could've been a touch more elegant. i think the tiara and sash saying birthday girl is also a tad too "tacky". But still Ayesha still pulls it off. She looks so pretty no matter what. Sai is getting PP to come for cake cutting but pp is being a b**ch.
Virat walks into the room in a nice brown suit with a golden brooch n all to see Sai down on the floor with her head injured against the table. He looks handsome in the outfit.
Looks like this birthday will have drama. Its not gonna be peaceful like Virat wants it. 😢
P.S.
Also i really think todays virat pp scene where he is shutting her up could have been done without holding her hand with the same dialogues being whispered to her. I know its very "instinctive" that he held her hand but i still think that after everything that has happened, virat should no longer be able to be so "spontaneous" with pp. He should be extremely guarded, measured and distanced in every interaction- small or big. Annoyed by that scene.
