I can't be sure but I guess even if it has any taste whatever it's mixed in probably has stronger taste which hides the poison. Otherwise people won't be able to poison each other so easily all the time.

Most toxins which you can find in nature will taste bitter for us, so as to raise disgust. However there are many synthetic toxins, which you'll not be able to differentiate.
