I guess this is the differences in the regional and hindi versions. Also the relationship dynamics are different from what I understand. Raavi grew up idolizing dhara as a big sister/ maternal figure like the boys did and even now she is their junior saas who tells her what to do lol as for rishita we know its whole other drama there lol rishita and raavi definitely can form a friendly bond at least and we have seen glimpses of it sometimes but I guess right now rishita has to grow out of her materialistic and partiality insecurity and stop taunting raavi at times while raavi is stuck in the shivi vacuum lol

As for maami and anita they will always be the interfering and annoying protagonists as per hindi tv tropes lol

PS has always hyped everything from the start and ending in ykb moments lol og version seems very relaxed and slow comparatively lol

Usually I don’t get involved in such things, but just commented for a second time for KD. All i could see was KD’s name by fans, who is commenting for the other 2 actors and where are those comments?Am I missing something?

Yess.it must be less dramatic.

So basically in the og version his breakdown was due to getting insulated for his looks,clothes and lack of education.

It had nothing to do with raavi's love for Dev.

Guess I prefer slow, relaxed, realistic to loud BGM, kaand after kaand😆

Nobody can idolize Dhanam like Mullai did. Even Raavi doesn’t stand a chance in her devotion towards Dhara. Mullai is called Dhanam’s chamchi by Meena all the time. You don’t need Kathir to defend Dhanam, Mullai is just sufficient😆

Okay this is maybe my biggest complain about the show. It does not dwell deeply on the feelings of the women.

Rishita was shown to be mean and brash yet her insecurities were not given importance and neither was she given any solid comfort on that matter by Dev( it was Gaumbi who was more concerned about her feeling out of place than Dev). Rishita missing her family had been shown once and then her mother coming to the reception- It could have been used to show her emotions and Dev being there for her. It legit seemed a breakdown point for her. But we got comedy😳

Raavi had been about to commit suicide for a person and then she conveniently forgot he existed and even forgave like no big deal. If not anger, they could have shown indifference from her side( we know Raavi could be angry and mean when she wants. She has been with shiva a few times too). There was the mandir scene between Dhara and her which gave us some insight on her thought process. Even the pag phera incident was closed too abruptly . I mean Shiva told if he did not get the kangan, raavi would not go with him. Raavi and Rishita both were outraged( alongwith other family members but the post is about sister in laws). Then he told that it would make him happy if she comes nor would he feel sad if she doesn't. Wasn't this one line enough for Raavi to do some serious thinking about her own marriage?

Rishita being outraged on Raavi's behalf could have been a good starting point for both of them to talk. Rishita could have gone to Raavi and asked how she is able to forgive and forget so easily . Raavi could have shared her point of view with some childhood anecdote telling that shiva has always been headstrong. Then they could have talked about other matters or just sat together in contemplative silence.

Raavi could have comforted Rishita after the whole reception thing. Raavi was in crossfire of mayka and sasuraal too. And both of them though love their families so much also know that their mayka had wronged their in laws and there is little hope of their relation between the families improving. It could have been a moment of solidarity for both of them that they are in same boat. In the end, Dhara could have come and said that she is there for both of them too .

Anyway it became a long rant again 🤪 Thanks for the patience to read it till the end 🤗

Shall I tell you something? Diary was a non-issue in the OG, Kathir laughed at Mullai’s thoughts as juvenile and immature😆 Here it is going to ba a kaand because hindi serials have to dramatize everything. Kathir had other problems with Mullai and her family, constantly taunting him about his clothes, education etc.

I want a Rishita -Raavi conversation to talk about their married life since it’s been 1 month since they both were married on the same day.
if you get a chance watch episode 100 of Pandian Stores, first private conversation between Mullai-Meena. Both shared their grievances and how they consoled each other.

Haha 🤣 Looking at that devil picture anyone would laugh it off 🤣 but our shiva is in love and zyada dimaag chalaofying

I’m actually surprised Shiva had the patience and interest to read her diary 😆 They always did seem to write him off as a person not interested in these sort of things.
