What's wrong with this family?

I just watched today's episode and it was effing ridiculous. I posed a few days ago supporting Malini but what happened today was disgusting too. If the Tripathis saw Imli as a servant from the beginning, it would have been much better if they had not shown her any love or "apnaapan" at all, because clearly it was false. I hate it when they don't do what they preach. These Tripathis are all elitist and all their claims of loving a naukarani like a beti were clear crap.

While I admit Adi did wrong with Malini, Aparna and even Harish seemed more upset with Imli? And Pankaj saying Malini is Adi's wife? Like wtf is going on. Imli must leave that shitshow of that house and go to a hostel and continue her education, without the crap she takes regularly from this hypocritical family. I think only then can she have some measure of mental peace. At this point, the only thing I can hope for Adi is to finally grow a spine and leave the house with Imli to prevent her from listening to the family's taunts. They both did wrong, but Imli made a wrong judgement, she in no way deserves what she heard today (Adi does).

I had been saying this since I saw the precap two days back, Imlie doesnt deserve any of those taunts! It was way out of line. Though they were coming out of frustration, they should have directed them all to Adi, not Imlie! If Adi really loves her he should step up and leave with Imlie. I am positive he has that in him. The Ts seem ignorant to see what ACTUALLY happened. They are pushing Adi to pursue a loveless marriage! I mean c'mon!

Sadly this is ITV, and we cant expect a typical bahu or couple to think progressively and move on rather than going through the taunts and drama and then eventually get accepted.

May be the makers didnt really want to promote that idea and thats why, I am guessing we can see a divide between senior and junior Tripathi's on the matter.

Actually for the first time the Tripathis are making sense. There OTT love for Imli was nonsense in the first place

The thing is they didn't even gave Imlie benefit of doubt or opportunity to make her case. They went on degrading her. Even with Malini, atleast they didn't stooped that low and gave her opportunity to explain herself when she was supposedly wrong in their eyes(as she lied about affair)

Tripathi's love and concern for Imlie us conditional and certainly doesn't equates to repect.

IHer only fault is not letting Adi tell this truth sooner, though her intuition about Tripathi's behavior post knowing truth was bang on. I agree, I would have preferred her to move out, she doesn't need baggage of useless relationships or Ts or Cs in her life.

Aditya has taken stand ,but he should also not pursue Imlie to live with such people who breaks her self confidence and self esteem.

Exactly! For Malini, she was atleast given a chance to explain herself and they were ready to hear her side of the story. For Imlie they were being simply ignorant to the actual truth. When clearly Adi was saying that Imlie is his wife and he fell in love with HER and not Malini. They just jumped into some conclusion about her having an EMA. That was very dissppointing to hear those harsh words from Harish btw..

Having said that, I have always felt there was a bigger connection that Aparna always shared with Imlie over the one she shared with Malini. She was never open to Malini, but was candid when she spoke to Imlie. Whether that was actually her being Imlie's master or her actual concern for the small town girl she is, is yet to be seen. Either way the taunts and name calling was TOTALLY not justified.

Calm down 😎 what ever Appu was saying is the result of feeling of betrayal from the two people she loved dearly. And Appu here represent the face of society😆

Appu loved Imlie as her daughter and ex DIL as DIL itself. So she shows formality towards her Ex DIL and Apnapan towards daughter. Appu feel betrayed here. So she gave strong reaction like hate to Imlie. Not everyone get shock everyday that actually her son is married to her fav girl who was brought to help her😆 that too living under her nose for almost a year. There is only a thin line bw love and hatred. And we only speak our heart out to our Apne. Apu is like Nariyal. Like mom like son. 😆

Now the biggest slap on Ts & Appu will be when they know Imlie carries her so called perfect Bahus Father's blood. 🤣 Imlie too is blue blooded.😆.

If they are really going to show that the T's will accept her BECAUSE she is Dev's lovechild, and not not because Adi chose her over Malini, then I am done with this! That would be TOTALLY hypocritical of the Ts dont you feel? That will definitely show that they were elitists.
