yeah but I would have loved it atleast to run for an year. I felt really bad for Saishi. It’s their first venture in Hindi and they have worked their butt off. Why don’t people come out of this usual masala stuff, I hate this when it happens to any good show I watch.

I agree on a minimum period, which is why I always root for the season format. You get greenlit for say, 30 episodes, and then if those 30 get a good overall reception, you get a season 2, else you don't. That way, viewers also have some sense of what they're getting into.

Also, then the writing is not forced to respond to such a volatile metric- TRP comes weekly, so it doesn't allow for slow episodes to lay groundwork. Instead, if an arc is analyzed holistically, all 30 episodes collectively, writers will write better content.

I know that’s why I was thinking it’s offscreen. Saw the green light as well, no idea. Maybe they might be having some light fall on her face and he is commenting on it.

That is exactly how it should be.. season format..for a minimum of 20-30 episodes and review performance at the end of every season so that viewers know exactly what to expect..I hate the fact that consumers have no say in the matter.. If they have a set target beforehand, makers can also stick to their original plot instead of adjusting and re-adjusting as per numbers every week.. This weekly TRP pressure is micromanaging on another level...
