Had there been no objection Chunali Jaffer would have extended the abuse for long. Remember how she repeatedly shown Malhar abuse Kalyani. It once started in 2018 end and then in 2020 post lockdown episodes much after he became nice to her after 2018 torture episodes. In Tere Sheher Mein when she came as new writer she ruined the story especially turning Hiba Nawab's character from modern babe to saree wearing tortured sanskari bahu along with separating the main couple.

This woman loves making MLs torture their FLs in worst ways. If you type Malhar Torture Kalyani in YouTube you will see loads of videos on that from different incidents.

Juhi at first i thought its a periodic show but now understood only the title is Maharaja Agrasen but the story is set in modern day as it said Chandni Chowk, Delhi. I think &Tv is going for a massive revamp thus they are bringing this kind of progressive show.
