Unexpected twist in FaTejo's characterisation

So I just realised something, normally we consider Tejo as the more mature perceptive one, and Fateh as not the sharpest tool in the shed. To be fair the way he literally agreed to become indentured labour for Chameli shows the dude does not have many functioning brain cells.

However in recent episodes I have realised he's more perceptive than Tejo. While Tejo completely underestimates how manipulative their relatives are, Fateh does not. He's even aware of how maachi/maami(idk that wweird lady) instigates his mom while Tejo thinks it's ridiculous. Now Chameli's obsession is fading, he sees how poisonous she is, and warns Tejo to be careful. Meanwhile Tejo gets played like a puppet. Gotta admit, I like this very much. Ek emotionally intelligent, ek in traditional sense, and they make a perfect pair.

The mean chipku shoukd be toned down coz shes not amusing at all if makers think that way as they are too obssessed with her which furthermore explains her hugher ss than the leads

This is very interesting and I can’t believe I didn’t notice it. If Jasmine was Fateh’s blindspot, family is Tejo’s. I hope that we keep seeing this smart Fateh unlike the usual ITV trope of having a stupid ML.

Also...as long as Tejo is with Fateh...he is more grounded. And this opens his perception.

He has that comfort level of depending on her to take care of everything, so he has the opportunity to actually look at things without the burden of added emotional hassle.

Same is not the case with Tejo. She is the strong one... dependable one. As such she has no possibility of blindly depending on anyone. This makes her meet things headfirst, using rationality to understand the matter. At times this rationality becomes corroded due to her family bias and she falls prey.

Unfortunately Fateh isn't strong enough to counter her yet. The day he is...they will balance each other out. He feels something fishy but his reasoning doesn't have the strength of conviction that Tejo's has. That's why he gives into her while truth is that he is the one who is right this time.

With time they will develop and Fateh will become her equal partner too.

Yep, I didn’t take into account that poor Tejo has no one to depend upon as of now. Hopefully as time goes by and Fateh heals, they’ll both mutually depend on each other and have an equal relationship.

I agree.. He is more grounded with Tejo and hence, his perception is more open, something he has earlier been blinded to because of Chameli.. Tejo is not used to trusting/ depending on anyone else, hence his gut feeling surrounding Chameli and Guppy don't make sense to her right now, just like her rational explanation of Chameli saying no to marry him, did not make sense to Fateh back then when his perceptions were blinded.

They are a good "two halves of one soul" that ways, with one being emotionally intelligent and other intellectually intelligent, but would need time to trust that for themselves and each other..

This is actually a great observation...and I hope it stays this way. I really hope Fateh remains careful and protects Tejo from her psychotic sister instead of falling down the blackhole of 'I love Jasmine'

True.. They balance eo flaws that's the beauty of fatejo.. ❤️
