Also on Rheaan marriage announcement, Rhea said that Ishqi is their guest and would not serve them. So we got a glass tod then bhagam bhaag Ahaan to bring ice for Ishqi scene.

I hope the new team actually understands this. Of all the Gul show MLs, Ahaan's character is probably the only one I've never felt like murdering or slapping to death. It's unbelievable but I like his character, not because of his 1921 thoughts and values but despite those, because of the way his character is written and the way it is supposed to interact with people like Karthik and Ishqi. I'd hate for him to become one-dimensional just because PH can't get it right.

The other interesting thing I've noticed over the last few episodes is that we always talk of Dadi's hold on AVM, but he has a fairly strong hold on her too. Or, if I could say, she doesn't attempt to answer him back/stop him if he's taken a decision.

No I think it's the same team who directed the resort episodes. It's just that they haven't done justice to some of the characters like Daadi, Bhola etc. The last thing I want here is them messing with Ahaan, Ishqi or Karthik 🤔

I think there is nothing complex in Kartik's character. He is a liberal feminist guy which every girl in today's time would want. So he can be loved by a general young audience plus he also has a sense of humor. But there wont be any growth for him so from story's perspective it will be very boring to watch someone like Kartik. Ahaan is much more complex. He brings out lot more emotions in the audience. He has suppressed pain, anger but at the some time he has extreme love for people around him.

weren’t ASR and Asad Khan like that,

I know that Asad even though had lot of pain because of his father’s betrayal to his mother and was traumatised because of it. He loved his mother, sister and even step brother

Yes, even in pre-leap, after the jagrataa mishap, daadi told him to cancel Mayank-Ishqi marriage from their house but Ahaan said that leave it and daadi agrees saying that you have already taken the decision.

Actually it was shown at some instances in early episodes as well. After jagrata dadi did not want Mayank-Ishqi wedding to happen grom their house. But Ahaan said Maine decide kiya shadi yahi se hogi. Dadi was like ab tumne kar liya decide to main kya kar sakti hu.

He loves dadi and try to please her but he is definitely not dadi's boy who follows her blindly.
