Yes. Women have been "objectified" in some HW films, but that objectification is not glorified or celebrated within the context of the films, unlike Bollywood.
Hollywood has problems too. But there is a good balance of story-driven, entertainment-driven and character-driven films in Hollywood, that sometimes have a male character in the focus, and sometimes a female character in the focus.
E,g, And Mission Impossible films are about Ethan Hunt. In all those films, both men and women have strong roles as well as normal roles. Women are not just "flower-pot" (as far as the BW definition of flower-pot goes).
Margrot Robbie was relegated to the background in "The Wolf of Wall Street", because the story was not about her character. But she had a significant part. Plus, as an actress, she gets interesting roles to do.
Senior actresses like Sally Field, Meryl Streep etc were never known for doing flowerport roles.
We, on the other hand, literally have "item numbers" in BW where drunken men roam around item girls attempting to grab/grope them
. And this is passed off as a normal/expected thing in our movies...
These songs are placed in films just for the "masala" factor and contribute NOTHING to the story-line. Directors have to label a film as "female-centric" or "women-oriented" first to get people's attention.
The less said about the scarcity of good roles for women, the better.
Although things are slowly changing now.
