Inquilab name was only suggested by someone to his family , when he was born, poet Sumitranandan Pant named him Amitabh.

Deepika parents are second cousins.

Amitabh dropped the Rai and just took Bachchan as his lastname. Abhishek and Shweta were named accordingly. Even Jaya Bhaduri became Jaya Bachchan.

Abhishek married Aishwarya Rai and Ash became Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Their daughter, the heiress to the family, has been named Aaradhya Rai Bachchan. (She took both her mother and father's surnames)

So in a very weird way the name "Rai Bachchan" crawled back into the family

But finding out that Alisha chinai’s real name is Sujata is very weird to me.

And I think I’ve mentioned this before. Shakti Kapoor’s real name is Sunil Kapoor. And it was Sunil Dutt who changed it saying koi powerful naam hona chahiye. Huh.

Sunil Dutt ko andaaza ho gaya hoga ki yeh tharki mera naam barbad karega. Badal dalo. 😆
