I think the writer had a dream make character since long but it didn't materialize as it would not match Ahaan's character due to the theme of the show.

So the writer brought it into live through Kartik. Somehow his character building shows off more efforts than Ahaan's and this may be the reason.

Scope for improvement:

1. Tone down Savitri'ss acting. Make her a normal human being and not a cry baby

2. Give better, less cringy dialogues to Rhea

3. Cut down 2 min from Savitri and give it to Chachi-Chacha

Today was overdose of Savitri but I am gonna let go that as build up is required for the current track. But can's handle too much of her cry every day.

Yea totally... I will take Sonu crying over Savi any day - that is how awful it is.

To me it feels like the purpose Rhea's track from makers is to only delay their SR😡😡 ..I still hope we continue to get some romantic scenes though

I think there are few good things that can come out of Rhea's track

1. Ishqi's trust: Now we know Ahaan trusts Ishqi completely, his trust was tested a number of times and it is unbreakable now. He is 100% sure that he wants Ishqi and will never ever leave her even with pregnancy. But Ishqi's feelings are not explored much. Rhea's track will test Ishqi's trust in Ahaan and if pregnancy news will make her sacrifice even if she trusts Ahaan. Is it really "untutable" as she claims?

2. Ahaan's progress in Savitri track: Rhea's track will make Ahaan learn to forgive someone's biggest mistakes. Even if it is not his baby but right now he thinks it is and he is expecting Ishqi to understand him and forgive him. He will be lying to her in the process for some time now. This will make him understand that he is not perfect and so he can not keep his mother also on such a high pedestal. If Ishqi should forgive him, he should do the same with his mother. One day, he may be willing to accept her mother even without truth revelation. If not accept but he can at least not hate her so much.
