I can’t explain how much I miss the wedding sequence. It was so brilliantly shot that I always have a lump in my throat watching it. Both Shiva and Raavi were going through such a turmoil! Thank you so much for sharing your views and loving the post! Big hugs! smiley31

Aah Shiva- I want to give him a bear hug. He was put in an impossible situation. Somehow reading about him being a second choice just breaks my heart.

I am actually re-thinking so many things- it was a terrible situation, and the family wanted to get out of it, but how come no one wondered about Shiva thinking of himself as a second choice. Absolutely no one brought this up- Suman or Gaumbi too. Was their thought just that Raavi will move on and everything will become ok? Even Krish jokingly talks about Shiva and Raavi not getting along, but he also doesn’t ask if Shiva will ever be happy given the circumstances of the wedding.

Gah I am feeling sad now 😕

Thank you so much for your kind words of appreciation. 🤗No matter how many times I watch the wedding episodes, it gives me a new perspective every time. More than anything during the wedding, one of the family members were in a trance and desperately wanted to fix a bad situation. Everything including their family‘s reputation was at stake, and hence the name, they took decisions without second thoughts. Maybe later, they thought whatever has happened has happened.Better to move on and start afresh, and I can now see that as efforts to put two dollars together.

On second choice reminds me of the novel the second turn Randamoozham (English: The Second Chance) is a 1984 Malayalam novel by M.T Vasudevan Nair translated in English later. It’s not only being the second chance at love but totally a whole new world of pain and rebirth. That’s why both Shiva and Raavi have my heart ❤️
