I won't speak for the ML, but I'm a diehard fan of Barun Sobti, the actor who played him. In roles like this, where the ML is all stony-faced, it's all upto the actor to put in the charm and charisma there. I don't think anyone could've played ASR the way Barun did ❤️❤️

In fact, we did have a Bengali adaptation of the show. Same scenes, same dialogues... almost 95% was copied ditto. But where Arshi were a sizzling bomb together, the Bengali pair looked like some shaadi mein aye hue mehmaan All talks and no feel Zero spark, nothing.

True even though Yash and Modhumita are individually doing well in the Bengali film industry,they couldn't recreate the Barun-Sanaya chemistry.

EXACTLY. Ek trend ban chuka tha ke ML matlab FL ko manhandle karna hai and it'd look all hot and trendy. He broke that trend. I think, if I have to think of another ML who was like that would be Sooraj Rathi from the Diya aur Baati show.
