I am amazed ki production houses with male heads like sudheer sharma, sandeep sickand, sumeet mittal can write such strong FL for their shows and khud ladki hoke yeh producers aise FL banati hai jisko jo aye beizzat kar k chali jay!!

I used to remember the IPK fans used to tease us that our ML was so boring and bland that only widows and divorcees will only go for him as they were desperate and no young girl will follow a ML like that who is so bland . I think I am okay with my bland ML who respected the FL and the romance was mature and the ML was not abusive. If passionate means abusive then I am okay with bland Mohan Bhatnagar.

I wasn't on IF back then but I've heard that forum was pretty toxic And some ipk fans can be toxic to this day

I won't speak for the ML, but I'm a diehard fan of Barun Sobti, the actor who played him. In roles like this, where the ML is all stony-faced, it's all upto the actor to put in the charm and charisma there. I don't think anyone could've played ASR the way Barun did ❤️❤️

In fact, we did have a Bengali adaptation of the show. Same scenes, same dialogues... almost 95% was copied ditto. But where Arshi were a sizzling bomb together, the Bengali pair looked like some shaadi mein aye hue mehmaan All talks and no feel Zero spark, nothing.
