Another food for thought today!

Have anyone watch the movie Sanam Teri Kasam with Mawra Hocaine and Harshvardhan Rane?

I somehow liked the movie despite it being extraordinarily cheesy and so stereotypical of a woman’s plight. The only parallel I loved about that movie is the extremely manly hero pining for the love of an oblivious girl around her.

I wish the makers could explore this route with Ravi and Shiva. It could be a considerable bomb if Ravi once realises that all these years she had been running after a mirage while an oasis was waiting for her just to be explored and loved! ❤️

I can’t help but wonder why Ravi would start playing Haldi with Shiva. That scene was so beautiful because it showed her comfort and joy being shared with Shiva. She didn’t forget to rub it on his face that he needs to realise she will be getting married and coming to this house forever. There were so many subtle layers to this conversation, more than their playful banter.

she even joined in as a kid when he was playing with haldi

Yes I always kind of wondered that… though the scene was cute, how could she be a tubelight to apply her haldi first to Shiva.

Normally a lot of superstition(as in shagun-abshagun) gets attached to these things in real life as well. Normally makers try to show some accidental application to point to the viewers that the jodi is “fated”. But here she is fully aware and applying the haldi to him. Not sure what wa showing through in her head- did she do it without thinking her actions through.

Would love to read your analysis on this.

oh my god, this could totally be applicable to their love story

I for one am a big supporter of the theory that shiva has pined for her since they were children and she was too oblivious to notice 😆

her chasing after the perfect dream without ever realizing he was right in front of her

Yup the movie itself is an adaptation of Love Story (English film)

I did not really like the film but liked the music.

@bold: Would love this- I have a feeling makers will go down this route, especially if they delve into Shiva-Dev-Raavi track.

I hope Shiva does not let her off easy, if she just wants to move on with him just because he is her husband. He might think of it as her just resigning to fate and making do with whatever she gets 😔

I would love for Raavi to explain to him on why she fell in love with him and why she truly has moved on from Dev.

I really wanted to go back to that scene to understand why they would show that. But, given the Ulti Khopdi of Ravi, one could not help but wonder why they Would do that.
