54 years old Akshay Kumar will be seen romancing 23 years old Manushi Chillar in his next movie Yash Raj Films's Prithviraj.

TBF he's 53 and she's 24.

If that was anywhere close to historically accurate it would be no big deal. But Prithviraj Chauhan (1166-1192) died at age 26. How is Akshay playing a 26 yr old?

(Though there's one entry on Wiki that has him born in the year 1149 but when you click through it also says born 1166)

I don't understand what is the big deal? Its just acting. Age gaps are in real life relationship as well. Why do we need to age shame anyone?

She is a Ms World....No one comes to BW because its a matter of life and death...they come here because they want to be famous and rich .....stop treating these people like hapless....they are not.....you want to see what helpless is...go to an orphanage or center for the bruised and beaten women and be frustrated about that and try to do something about it..Manushi knows very well what being paired opposite a superstar will do for her...same for Nupur....these are smart women.......what is anyone's problem if she wants to be paired romantically opposite a 55 year old.....you don't like it...you don't watch it....this is not a huge problem jiske liye dharna doh..

Kriti Sanon is a freaking Engineer....Manushi Chhillar would have been a doctor in a few years.....These are not some poor girls who are working because they have a family to feed...and people are taking advantage of them....they obviously want more money , fame and a glamorous life....stop guilt tripping Akshay or the audience.....no one should be guilt tripped here.....everyone is doing what they want....Manushi doesn't want to be a doctor.....and the audience wants to see beautiful girls on the screen if they want to spend their hard earned money....problem kya hai??

Maybe Aaradhya? She will be 20 in ten years time and Akshay and Co will be in their early 60s only !! They can easily spend their own money producing a film where they get to romance a girl 40 years younger ! Money ain’t a problem and apparently age isn’t either!
