Ever since Lockdown begun, nobody was allowed to step out of their house for any task. There are a number of things that stopped but for Vansh, the most important thing which stopped is............. meeting his Riddhima. How he wished to see her everyday and hold hands with her and walk around letting people know that they ate together. “I miss you!” he confessed over the call, again. “I miss you too!” she told him, again. After every few minutes, Vansh has been reminding her of two things: first, I miss you and second, “I wanna see you!” he told her again. “I wanna see you too!” she again answered the same. This has been going on for the past few minutes, if you'd sit with them, you would realise that they have been repeating the same thing, again and again. “You know what happened with Vyom?” he asker her. “What happened with him? Covid?” she asked not knowing, though scared for her friend. “Not Covid! His girlfriend, Siya broke up with him because of quarantine. She said that she lost interest in him,” Vansh said with sadness. Riddhima realised that her Vansh isn't just sad for Vyom's break-up. There's more to it. “What exactly are you sad for?” she asked. “That even you would lose interest in me because of Lockdown and Quarantine,” he confessed. Riddhima really admired his thought. She would never leave him but his fear his justified. “I would never leave you, Vansh. Moreover, How can I lose interest in you? You are like a puzzle which I can solve all day,” she said to cheer him up but she meant everything. “I miss you, Riddhima!” he confessed. “I miss you too!” “I wanna see you!” “Then see me!” she said and he got amused. “How? I can't come in your building,” he asked, not knowing what she had meant. “Let's video call each other at 08:00 in the night, what say?” she asked, excited. “Done! It's been so long since I saw your face,” Vansh said and Riddhima chuckled. “We had video called each other last evening at 4,” she reminded him. “23 hours, Riddhima and I have missed you more than 23000 times,” he told her and she fell for him a little more.

Riddhima kept the laptop on the desk and sat on the chair, holding a bowl of maggie. She video called Vansh and within few minutes, they connected spreading a wide smile over each other's faces. “Sweetheart, I missed you!” Vansh said as soon as he saw her face. “I missed you too!” Riddhima replied and showed him the bowl of maggie, “I made!” she smiled as she informed him. “Maggie!! Learn to cook a few more yaar! Otherwise, after we get married we'll only get to eat maggie,” he told, jokingly. “Even you learn to cook, then both of us will cook together,” she told him. “And destroy the kitchen!” he laughed as he continued. “Vansh!” she whined. “I miss you, Riddhima! I would have loved Lockdown if the two of us would have been together under the same roof,” he told her. “Then let's marry!” she told, happily. “Virtual marriage? No!” “Then wait for some more time,” she told him and made a cranky face but added, “And I hope that your main door is shut!” He furrowed and joked, “Due to think that Corona is gonna come at my door step and knock on my door?”“Not Corona but something more dangerous,” she told him and saw his confused look, later added, “Ahana, your neighbour.” “Why worried about Ahana? She's really chilled. We had dinner together last night!” he told her and got a glimpse of her jealous face. “Go and facetime her, now!” she told angrily and ended the call. Finishing her maggie, angrily, she took her laptop and sat on the bed, tying a bun. She planned to binge watch but changed as she received Vansh's request for facetime which she accepted. “Angry?” he asked as she didn't utter a word. “I miss you, Riddhima!” he told her, again. “If you'd miss me then wouldn't have had lunch with Ahana,” she taunted him. “I miss your jealousy also!” he winked at her. “She likes you, Vansh!”“But I love you!” he admitted, again. And for sure, he wouldn't get tired admitting it for a lifetime. She looked at him and admired his face. She wished if she could run her fingers through his face. “Riddhima, do you know?” he asked. “What?”“That we can't spell Quarantine without U R A Q T!” he winked at her. She blushed, “You need to do something with your lines.”The call went on as they spoke and confessed about how much they missed each other and wanted to be in each other's arms. During the call, Riddhima slept since she was tired by doing everything. Vansh looked at her sleeping face and touch the screen like he would feel her face and muttered, “I miss you!” moments before keeping the laptop on the side of his bed and looking at her sleeping face and he too, drifted into sleep. ---
