I don't know how to explain it but him ignoring her just doesn't feel right. I mean it was his dream to make her a barrister and together they work for the society. Now if he ignores her it would be very weird. He owes ot to her to explain everything

I know what you mean. If Ani actually goes to have a proper conversation with her (later on, not in front of Thakuma), then he will win my heart. But they need some masala from Indian TV so I am keeping expectations low.
