Kartik- How did he manage to grow up almost equal in age to Sonu despite Chacha not being married when Sonu's father died? Daadi adoption to Karne nahi degi. Is he Ahaan-Sonu's father's child due to some affair or something?

They did not tell Chacha was not married. They just told chacha was studying. Maybe he studies after marriage also.
