We don’t know how Rashid supported Dilshad and her kids? If he supported them financially, he would have had some say or involvement with his kids but he didn’t. It looked like Asad earned everything himself.. before that it’s unclear. Rashid made money through his second wife’s brother and business..

In IPK, we don’t know how UMC or rich the Raizadas were until Arnav’s business took off (he is shown around 25 years of age so by that logic the immense wealth is not too old). In early episodes it was shown that maami had Pawned her jewellery & broken FD for Arnav’s business. (Also note that he went to Harvard for MBA - can assume he got scholarship?)
