This is bugging me so much. They could not come up with one logical cohesive backstory. Why mention gareeb 😡 If they really show garib and tell ahaan earned it, it would just kill Ahaan's character

That is another stupidity in the plot. Savvy and Rhea thing were big enough for drama. Dadi's idiotic stopping SR is just stupid.

I think Chachaji's studies got over and he got a stable, good paying job until kids completed their education. They were probably not rich but UMC. Men don't do household chores - so they don't buy vegetables either.

Ahaan's dad had a jeevan beema; Daadi got rid of Savitri because she wanted the entire money for herself, also got rid of her good for nothing son.
