Why do you think he's taken the decision to go slow? Because he feels unworthy or because he wants to make sure it's a slow burn instead of fireworks when it comes to building their relationship. He's been around enough women to recognize attraction and desire, so he will be able to see it in Pallavi too, but does he know she's in love with him? Curious as to what made you feel that way.

It will be totally worth it and I hope the CVs have got something mind blowing lined up for us!

Well...You know the extra effort he makes to keep a distance with her, cannot be because he is "clueless" he has been around enough women to know his way around them and to sense what they have on their mind or their intentions.. For instance, the day they had a discussion over sharing the bed, his counter questions/objections to every reason she had to give to justify why they should move in, was his way of making sure she is agreeing to this arrangement because she wants it and not because Amma wants it for them.. Pallavi is no ordinary woman in his eyes..He might not show it in his actions or express it through words always, but he holds her in very high esteem.. Just like in the bedroom sharing discussion scene, he absolutely made sure that she wants it..the same logic applies to taking forward their relationshiop.. he will want to make sure that she understands what she is getting into, that she gives in herself to him, because she wants him after knowing him through and through and everything that comes with the baggage of being Raghav Rao..not because of how she perceives him to be based on the way he redeemed himself in her eyes or any phyiscal attraction that she might feel for him which is completely natural..

They kept it simple and realistic, which is why it had such an impact. What I love about this couple is that we see them do things that normal couples would, so we feel as if we're on this journey with them, and are getting sneak peaks all the time.

The best part is that nothing is over the top or overly stylized like on other shows, nor does it become vulgar or indecent, even with such intimate moments.

Also, intimacy between a couple isn't just about 'ahem ahem' but all these daily moments too. This is the plus point of having no pillow wall, someone please tell the writers of other shows!!

Yes, those little things. Living with a person of opposite gender can be so full of surprises. There are things that we may not exist. An example that comes in my mind with respect to girls is hair. Hair on bed, on pillows, in bathroom. Then the clothes, hygiene products. Its not just the room you share, you share an intimate part of yourself too. Which is why hostel's room mates are so close knit.

He was a bit ashamed/embarrassed about crossing boundaries and wondering what the heck was wrong with him. The only part that makes sense is him taking physical comfort in terms of hand holding, cuddles, etc. just because he's so confused, emotionally weak, and dare I say a bit needy.

All this seems to be leading to him realizing his feelings when it's 'too late' and him suffering further because he can't have her in his life once Mandaar appears (dead or alive). I don't think he'll act on his emotions while he's this distraught and while he feels the attraction between then, he will remain aloof from Pallavi, which might end up hurting her. Any advances she makes will be measured as well because she doesn't want to dive headfirst either and seeing him all worried about Ved will mean her focus would be more on providing him her support and reassurance that she'll stand by him no matter what. In the meantime, there will be situations that will bring them physically close, but may not be explicitly initiated by either of them.

The precap was interesting because clearly the way he picked her up and her half open eyes, the way he stroked her hair makes it seem like he's aware that she's half asleep or drunk. I think he doesn't have the courage to tell her everything while she's fully alert but this is his way of offloading. We'll only know when the episode airs, of course.

I think the kitchen scene is where he feels a bit more reassured about being able to tell her the truth but still has a mental block. The way he withdraws his hand from her forehead might be either because he doesn't feel he has the right to or he's just got such a delicate mental balance that he wants to put something distance between them, both physically and emotionally.

I am guessing he later goes to see Milind in the evening, sees Mandaar's photo and comes home distraught but cannot have a conversation with Pallavi. I guess they flooding scene happens then and he picks her up, takes her to the room. When she pulls him closer, he looks at her innocence, the guilt overwhelms him, especially because of how much she trusts him and wants to support him, and at least in that state he wants to let out what's on his mind. I don't think he wanted to confide in her just yet but just wanted to get some of the weight off his chest. He's not good with bottling things up, and he feels like he's deceiving her by not being open. We know he hates betrayal of any kind and finding himself in this position can't be easy.

@bold- yup, exactly. I mean, I made a joking comment about how the awkwardness lasted a grand total of one day, and how he's terrible at being unnoticed, but he was probably so upset by this. Just a day back he promised her that she'd be safe and he'd respect her space, so he's obviously going to kick himself for invading it, even unintentionally. I agree that he's kind of needy right now, poor boy is going through a lot. I love that they're showing us physical intimacy of this kind. It's about so much more than just sex and attraction- comfort, security, sanctuary, reassurance, peace, companionship. They'll come to the sexual part of it when the time is right, but I'm more than happy for it to right now be about other things, with Pallavi taking the lead. Just by how peaceful he looked in his sleep, we can tell that such gestures will do good for his mental health, but he's not going to seek them, at least not when he's awake and in his senses. But she's perceptive enough to offer it without being asked, as she's done before when she made him sleep on her lap after the mirchi thing.

I agree on the precap take- drunk or sleepy, I guess he realized that confessing when she's unlikely to remember will both help him take some of the weight off, without putting it on her. The phone may mess with his plans though.

@bold: I was going to put exactly same thing. He took away Pallavi's choice to marry hence he now wants every single thing to happen according to her free will. Do whatever you want, society gayi bhaad mein.

Sure, she doesn't know about the Mandaar angle yet, but just knowing that Ved is around helps her understand why Raghav must be so stressed.

I love how she doesn't focus on herself and her needs at this point even though she realizes she's in love with him and that she's found happiness after so long. We've always said she's like still waters and we see it here too.

Every episode makes me fall deeper in love with these two. As a couple, yes, but also as individuals. I'm regularly floored by the sheer intensity with which Raghav feels, and the extent of compassion and empathy that Pallavi is capable of. What beautiful people, inside out.

A slight tangential note- I like how the show is creating tension between the couple without it being one of their faults. The situation is a all sorts of tragic right now, but it's neither of their faults. They're both doing right by each other. I've said this on many threads, but I don't enjoy love stories where I'm clearly on one person's 'side' which always happens when the couple is constantly pitted against each other for the sake of drama- who's right, who's wrong, who's deserving/undeserving of the other, etc. I love this show's approach to angst

The birds chirping and early morning sunrays washing over them... so real and natural it looked.. On top of that these two have such an amazing chemistry.

Just thought of something else. Is this the first time we've seen that room so bright, i.e. because he now has Pallavi in his life?

Its not about being introvert.. I feel some people just don't like putting themselves out there in public eye..

yes from technical standpoint, the reason is that ''actor'' abhi cast hua.. but they could always arrange for more pics of the same actor.. they must have finalized on this name months back..

The lack of enough pictures of Mandhar must have a reason.. who knows maybe he had a big showdown with Vijay at some point, maybe the night before he disappeared and he burnt down all his pictures in rage??

Well I know many people who don't like having a digital presence and if you're into shady business then all the more reason to stay off the radar. It would be such an interesting contrast to Nikhil having his own youtube channel and putting everything out there!

For a while, I kept my eyes on the credits in the beginning of the show, but Star seems to do only the very major credits- creatives, story, production and direction, much to my disappointment. I'd love to know who to credit for the lovely sets, lights and cinematography, and who to hold accountable for Pallavi's often questionable looks.

@bold, tell me about it. The morning scene was just perfect. She's naturally gorgeous, why give her those hideous hairstyles and makeup?

Is this the first time we saw a morning scene in that bedroom?
