lol... humare haan is different ... I have considered myself middle class all my life and that is (still) what i think we are - because we weren't given anything on a platter - i didn't even take money from my parents for my higher education because they already do so much in terms of providing a loving home etc., that i wanted to stand on my own two feet (same with my siblings). We have seen my parents do the same & be self sufficient so it was natural we followed suit. Except until my friends after seeing my habits, the way my family interacts and our way of living (not lavish but privileged) labelled me with nickname "Posh" among other similar names ... 🤣

Mujhe to lagta tha ke sab humari family ki tarha hote hain middle class mein - extremely academic oriented / no difference in raising boy vs girl / broad-minded in terms of not judging ppl / well-traveled🤣🤣

And then I got married into real middle class so I realized maybe I am not actually middle class
