No matter how much I dislike Dev, today, he stole the show and my heart with his innocent apology. Let’s all assume at this point that we would always get half baked apologies from Dev. Dev has always been that blue-eyed boy who has been loved, admired and treasured by people for his softness, empathy and kindness. He has always been that boy who would be the favourite of teachers, girls, elders and everybody in the world. Dev has always been this boy who got it relatively easy due to his demeanour and charms.

Perhaps, that’s the one-upmanship he enjoys, and that’s what makes him simplistic yet diplomatic. The reunion of Ravi and Dev was equally innocent, where instead of closure or catharsis, we get a new beginning, rekindling an old friendship. This is Dev, who fought for Ravi and her rights with everyone around her. He was the hero of her life, and in his eyes, he was a dear friend. The metamorphosis of this friendship became an alternate reality for Ravi and hence all the confusion. Now that Ravi is past that phase of being in love, she can perhaps see Dave I am her old friend, Confident and support system. The scene was sweet, and Dave, as usual being Dev. Ravi laughed genuinely at him as he sweetly gestured an apology.

The hesitancy, awkwardness and the initiative was beautifully captured in the scene. I really admired the way they sentiments shifted from confined awkwardness to a familiar sense of warmth and smile.

He hesitates unsure of what to say!

I love this scene Where both of them hesitate to feed each other cake. These are kids who grew up together. Relationships do change over a period of time, however the essence and the warmth Remains the same. I have always felt the Dev genuinely felt Ravi was a good friend right from the childhood. His complimenting was genuine, he used to take care of her when she got hurt and above all he shielded her from Shiva. Unfortunately that care concern was mistook for love, and that brewed a storm in their lives. The dynamics may have changed but the essence of the bond is very unique.

Why can't Dev be a little more sensitive?

Along with maami, he is one of my most disliked character.

Wish he stood next to Shiva when Raavi was going around with cake to everyone.

Wish he said sorry to Raavi & tried freindlyJethji initiative standing next to Shiva- including both of them in apology & new next.

Would have felt much better & heartfelt. especially after such draining kaand pe kaand pe kaands.

Good that Raavi neither extended her handshake nor took cake beyond what was a formality.

The way he waited to talk after Rishita left & extending friendship, somewhere tells me this spineless constipated guy will keep harboring past all life. Won't care for anyone else's feelings.

(SO don't want pakhididi ka male alterego here! )

Perfectly said.. today I really liked Dev. Finally he apologized to Raavi. Now the relationship between them has changed. That little hesitation should feed her or just give. And Raavi took the piece from him.. well executed

@bold: this is the sad truth.. Shiva has to pay for his "older brother's" mistakes 💔

Dev has always gone scot free, he is simply not worth anyone's time.. he is the most ignored character anyway😆
