As an ardent viewer for the past 194 episodes-I think what I am expecting is a bit of sensibility in the way they are writing these episodes now. Yesterday's look liked a satire on the very situation they are all in! It has all come down to us guessing and defending or even dismissing ki it eej ok it is a soap!

BTW, What memories does Adi have of the 8 months of marriage? Freaking those 8 months he was married to Imlie...and trying to grapple his feelings...!! Mutlab itna toh logic laga sakte the na...all they had to do was strike marriage/shaadi and put friendship/dosti in the word document they had created for the script!

Thanks dear. I agree on the sensibility bit, sometimes it gets irritating to see someone talk so out of character.

But I would like to say that bechare ke saare marriage ke memories bure nahi the. Remember how he said moons name in the second PD wala trip when that 7 janam ka vachan le raha tha. Uske liye he was actually dil se committed to her at that point. I agree that his memories are mainly tied to his 7 yrs ka friendship and his initial days of his marriage before things started to fall apart. That was why the shaadi ka photo pe he said that yaadein hai even if shaadi nahi hai toh bhi. He will always give that respect to those memories, because he was genuine then to her and that relationship. It was much later when Imlie got shot, that woh jhatke ne uski actual feelings bahar nikali. Uska veneer tootne laga till Imlie left and he actually realised that something was wrong and woh actually badal gaya.

So while the timing and how he said it to Malini may be wrongly perceived, I still believe the guy to be genuinely saying it to make her feel better, as usko dikh raha tha that she was getting disturbed at being replaced in his life.

Arre they were not college mates. He came as a frsh journo and she was in college when they attended the same seminar. So he is a bit older than her, so 32 is also a possibility.

All i can think about good memories and i remember their fights... their cancelled honeymoon... his love for moti roti.. didi takin credit for imlies poem.. adityas outburst at chaturvedi's... aditya's subconscious favoring of imlie over malini (bridge collapse)... his 3rd PD visit and drama malini created on it.. then sindoor drama and then suicide.. did i miss anything

Somehow i think the 8 hr a day shooting limit may be impacting the way scenes are delivered. But writing ka tho aise limitations nahi honi chahiye. But who knows?
