At this point of time when this fight happened Virat’s mind is clouded by the thought of Sai’s Yaara Ajinkya and then the pendent thing. May be that is why he didn’t sincerely try to understand Sai’s expression regarding his elders. He was more into other issues. Sai should have apologised yes but she chose to blabber everything else and come What May she can’t get rid of Pakhi from her thoughts or words. She still is far away from realising Virat’s feelings.
Regarding her explanation about pendant like I said in my post sometimes words will flow without much thought or choice. This is one such instance for both as they failed to chose the right words.
Ya but i dont think we can always justify their poor dialogues by saying it was just because they were fighting so they werent thinking. This was not an emotional, charged up fight where hurtful things are often said in the height of emotions. This was just a regular squabble, light hearted even....so in such an argument its important for the dialogue writers to use dialogues effectively to communicate the characters emotions well. It was not a bad scene by any means but it had potential to be excellent if only they had been a little mindful of dialogues. We dont get too many Sairat scenes with no interruptions so they need to maximize it like they did with selfie/hug scene, breakfast scene, pre bhoot story Sairat conversation scene..
