He also put Jasso in her place which won him a good number in my book. Honestly, he was being a nice guy as long as Jasso was nice to him. The moment she began treating him like shit, he reciprocated and I think there's nothing wrong with that.

My take however is that Gippy's character was definitely introduced for a purpose, to pose as stark contrast against Fateh. Remember how the makers foreshadowed that Chameli's past, present and future will forever be in Punjab during Jasfa marriage? To maintain that point, Jaspy will proceed with marriage talks, but Gippy will find out about Chameli's 'make Fateh jealous' scheme and royally break off the marriage (also giving Jasso a taste of her own medicine along the way).

At that moment, Amrik will heroically choose to save Jasso's reputation by marrying her (And in this way the two sons of Virk family were epically married off😆 what a story for the future Virk generations) The marriage will occur for the classic Devrani-Jethani drama plus Jasrik conspiring for Fatejo's downfall. This is also needed for Amrik to gradually wake up and realize at some point that he liked Chameli but she was not what he wished for.

Lmao I might as well write some angsty family drama scripts for itv along the way.

Nope, I bet she won't realize her mistakes even then because according to her, Tejo will be the one to blame. Jas never learned to own her mistakes, she always shirks away any responsibility that comes her way.

Actually both Jasso and Amrik are equally bad. They both fulfil their own vested interests under the guise of wanting the best for their own siblings, when in reality they're just making matters worst.🤗
