why not men of the shah family learn something

so many itv shows show women learn new things at various ages like like getting education if the character is illiterate etc why can't they show men 'learning' to cook and balance other households (in this show and gen) chores along with office work if they don't know how to do it ...why only women have to learn how to balance life ....they just mention the men helping out in passing but never show them actually entering the kitchen to do one task without prompting or out of habit or getting their wives even a glass of water it's still Anupama doing it for everyone

They all does only side jobs as per today's episode. Main cooking is not their cup of tea.

Better they call back geeta since jhilmil ka atta-patta nahi hai. It's clear nobody knows cooking except anupama and cooking is nobody's priority too. I can see except baa-bapuji, everyone is fine eating outside or eating tiffin meals or eating in office canteens. Vanraj also understood that kavya se he can't expect full meal and aloo tikki/paratha/kadhi etc.

Maid or tiffin service or daily outside food is only option for these people and i am sure except baa bapuji all are fine with it since nobody is interested in standing in the kitchen and cooking for bulk of people.

may be they are paving the way to come Geeta back not fro Kavya only for the rest of the family as well ?

I feel exactly same! They are paving way for geeta and they had given hint for the same. When geeta was leaving, she had requested anupama to call her for work

that would be nice but still the way they mentioned the men helping it would be nice to show it too sometime

yup true but just the way they can show Anupama learning to drive etc they can show samar or toshu or vanraj at least trying to learn how to cook too
