Episode 20

It was one of the better episodes of the past whole month or should i say 2 months, at least there was a flow of events and story has started moving.

RomSik, well he pays her, she knows that he will not marry her but still wants him, so I can conclude that Sikka wants to continue his fling with Romana forever and never promise her any commitment too? What I do not understand is that whether I should feel bad for Sikka or should i loathe him for being this spineless, he has so much money and power, he also knows how selfless Roma is, and still he thinks continuing all this is right, because she is bazaru? However, I like Sikka when he tries to calm his mom down regarding Mahi and her family, he understands the plight of both Mahi and his mother, in this case he has shown maturity and makes me say that at least someone is there in all the jagirdari pagalpan who has brains to deal with the hypocrisy.

Mahi and her whole family, they are so entertaining at times, that I do not even feel the need of imagining that these people are supposed jagirdars. What was Mahi's mother thinking, when she was whining and cribbing about not being invited to the 40th funeral saga?🤪. The way aunty ji behaved, it seemed like there was a wedding function going on and aunty ji got ignored, WTH was that? She did not stop there, she even taunted Mahi for staying back, I loved it how she had zlitch sympathy or grief for Taimoor, from her behavior it was more like 'Taimoor loser died, whatever, let me and my daughter go back to our own lala land please'. I was 🤣. Neither she had any guilt on her face that the very reason why Taimoor is no more is indeed her own son, what a mockery of Taimoor's lost life and the sentiments of his mother here, I salute the writer, he has pointed out the innate hypocrisy and sole rigid mentality of the feudal very well here, these people can only be selfish and has no capacity to empathize with anyone, not with the infinite worker like Farhad/Dilawar, who at someone loses their lives, not with their own son in law who lost his life because of them.

Mahi, well she made me so proud in this episode, as much as I crib at her pendulum actions, in this episode she was more like the Bahawalpur Mahi. Within her calm demeanor, she was swallowing all the frustration, and as soon as her mom taunts her, she responds that 'Bitch please...You guys made me marry here'🤣. I was like, go girl, go, matlab, how poetic it is, you marry your daughter off to stranger, your daughter also agrees with it, the man dies, and everyone blaming each other for the mess, this entire scene itself validated the fact that Mahi never had interest in Taimoor, her mom's influence had blinded her that well 'ladkiyo ki toh shaadi hoti hai aisegi, so meri bhi hogi'. I do not know whether this makes Farhad's concept of 'princess falling in love and leaving her empire' makes believable or not, but for a moment it felt like had Mahi really fallen for Farhad, she would rebel, she would not let him go, and fight her parents.

Mahi-Sahiba, the duo is back and I was happy, at least they talk about the real story here, which is Farhad and Mahi's heart, Mahi tells the truth to her bhabi only and I am glad Mahi fired her too like, 'WTH do you wnat, cannot you see this is all a show, and I am doing it to save izzat'🤪. It was clear that now even Mahi's iddat is just a show off, she does not real feel any genuine connection for her dead husband and infact claimed that she died the day when Farhad died, matlab kya tha I do not know, but chalo Mahi focusing on Farhad and valuing Farhad's death more in her life over Taimoor's can only give me mixed feelings, because I always wanted to see Mahi valuing Farhad, but not this way for sure, may be she will value his existence too once she sees him alive, but i doubt whether the writer will go that way.

Farhad-Romana, well, can I say the tanweez being flaunted and finally the guy speaking in his own voice, gave me a whistle-phodu fan moment? 🥳.. We finished 3 threads on cribbing about why does not he talk, and finally he did, queen Roma deserves a bow, she made him talk at least🤣.. The media is so happy, I just read in insta in one of the review portals, the head line was 'Farhad did not lose his speaking skills', that itself is an achievement this week🤣.

Roma, the way she happily asks Farhad that 'hey you are the same train guy, do you remember'?, Farhad was like 'This woman and her clan wants me to remembe rthat humiliation kya'?😆. The pissed off and genuine angry look which he gave her was all logical, Farhad still had that Lahore's Farhad's touch in this scene, where he shut off someone and asked to leave. Jokes apart, the conversation was good, as I said earlier, I used to love the show because of the conversations, and finally we had some here, Romana being the intelligent one here spots that he cannot be a bhikhari and he refutes and leaves without argument, him leaving like that only makes me believe that he has no interest in mingling with anyone anymore, and the tough and angry demeanor is a shield to avoid getting fooled anymore. The Farhad I loved still was so visible in him, and may be Romana will find that Farhad out too, it is sad that things will be miserable only.

The interesting take away from this episode is, Farhad even though landed at Taimoor's haveli for the prayers, did not indeed pray, he probably does not have it in him as he says 'mujhe dua karni nahi aati', the underlying meaning is just so powerful, had his prayers worked, he would have his Mahi, that is what he thinks I believe, and the beauty of this entire situation is that he does not know how to pray, he believes that his prayers do not work, but he still landed up in the shrine, at Allah's doors thinking that even though the whole world rejected him for being useless, he will always find a shelter here, it reminded me of how Mir Hadi did not know how to bow down to the Lord but he still found peace there when guilt was killing him, here Farhad himself claims that he does not know how to pray but still found himself a shelter there, and I am loving the progress now.

The episode was good, because, again the characters talked, Mahi-Sahiba, Mahi-Roma, Farhad-Roma, all the conversations only made me say that, the underlying beauty and depth of each of these characters especially Farhad-Mahi lies in their genuine emotions and desire to just be about each other, both ruined each other, both remembers each other in an ugly manner, but still the way the writer has shown that no matter how impossible their union is, they will remain connected.

I am sorry for the long write up, for some reason, after ages, I saw glimpse of real Farhad (Lahore wala), real Mahi (bahawalpur wali) and the essence of KAM3, the reason I loved the show, the leads making it clear what they want❤️

The teaser was very good too, Amma sai fainting, opening doors for Mahi's happiness to trigger a Mom-Daughter bonding, Mahi finding genuine love in the form of kids, Romana despite all odds making efforts to win her Sikka, and Farhad being the media or shall I say the healing here, for not only Mahi but Romana and Sika too. I think even before Mahi, Romana will bring Farhad to normalcy, or at least make him realize that his prayers work too, only if he starts believing that he is God's child too.

And for once and all, Mahi's entire stupid hypocrite family should go and chill somewhere, and not come in between Farhad-Mahi now at least 🤢

Finally review likhdiya maine, I feel like I gave an exam now, kya haalat hai meri yaar, especially for a show like KAM3 which is more like a curious case of mohabbat and nafrat at the same time.

I still feel he is an honest and emotional guy, who is also very young, I never saw him saying anything against anyone though, heck even when he talked about Khalil Rahman, he said that we are on good terms now, and his costars talk so good about him, makes me say Feroze is just like those people, who is mooh phatt, boldega whatever he feels is right but will never criticize or even put others down, and he can always say his own opinion, as long as he is not demeaning others.

However, his contemporaries liking tweets against him is low and unclassy, believe it or not, he is the best actor of the lot, Bilal Abbas comes a close second, that is it, rest are meh and Geo wants to pitch Feroze against Humayun Saeed, imagine the pressure here 😆

Mir hadi had two iconic breakdowns, I love the blood hallucination one though, that breakdown was more like physical ache, what a writing it was, Gold. And Farhad in 11th episode, just was so precious, I know people hate him, but main kya karu, I loved Farhad at 11th episode only, I wish 12th episode would never come, and 11th episode would be the end, Farhad would be protected by Dilawar and happy ending.
