She is trained in Kathak and pole dancing both of which require grace and flexibility.The first dance sequence she had during Manasi's wedding, chhalka chhalka re, is when it struck me that she must be a trained dancer and turned out she is.. and most Indian dance forms, be it Kathak, bharatnayam, Odissi etc, heavily rely on facial expressions besides grace..something you see in yesteryear actresses like Madhubala, Vaijanthimala..even Rekha, Sridevi and ofcourse Madhuri Dixit.. these actresses were all trained in some or the other form of Indian classical dance forms that is part of the reason they were so good with expression and so graceful onscreen..Shivangi sure reminds of those veterans though she is very young..hope she keeps working hard and does justice to her talent.

I'm sure she will. I've seen some of her dance videos on Youtube. She's wonderful!

Full agree on Chalka Chalka Re, there was such a contrast in her movements and everyone else's. Also, the things she did with her eyes in that dance, both as real-Pallavi and fantasy-Pallavi.

As far as dances go, Vaathi Coming really stood out to me too, because that wasn't a typical 'graceful' or 'feminine' dance sequence, but her movements were so fluid and pretty.

Also, LOL, not sure if anyone remembers this one, but Kundi Na Khadkao Raja? 🤣 Again, since it was just her and Mansi dancing, her skill level was so obvious, even in super basic steps.

yes her grace was coming through even in a song like Vathi Coming.. Dont remember Kundi wala song..

In that chhalka song, I though even ayi did really well for her age..but Shivangi's grace makes her stand out..she looked so pretty in that entire sequence..So wanted Raghav to see her dancing.. but then we had them both dancing on Vathi coming..love that performce😆

I feel like a broken record, because I'm repeating stuff from the AT again, but of course seeing her dressed like that today made a huge impact on Raghav. It's the first time ever he's seeing her in red, dressed like a bride. She didn't dress up for the wedding, understandably. On the reception, she chose to wear white. When Jaya decked her up in all the sringaar of a new bride, he didn't get to see her.

And I'm so freaking glad that this first look was reserved for when they had accepted the marriage, just like the grih pravesh into their real home today. None of the bitter memories to taint all these firsts.

Well, said. It worked out nicely that he didn't see her in the red saree because she looked like a typical married woman but was married in name only. Here she's not just married 'for real' but truly his wife, his apni. Everything about her was different - the color or the saree, the jewelry, hairstyle, and even her confidence.

Also, I feel that the subdued tones in RR mansion helped her red saree stand out even more. I am sure that played into it.

@bold- I've fixated on that line so much, because isn't it true? Jabse Pallavi aayi hai, he's started finally finding peace in life. Pehle Jaya and Kirti moved in, then he found the drive to become better, then he found someone who has faith in him and trusts his word, then someone who is willing to listen to his past and trauma without judgement, then someone who'd fight the world for his sake, then someone who finally bridged the emotional distance with his mom, then someone who jataos haq on him. Har tadap ko sukoon hi toh mil raha hai.

Yeah, I also wanna know, vatsavitri rituals ko google karne ke liye kaunsi files chahiye thi bande ko?

The kya hua thing is just, uff. He did it even when they came home from the Deshmukhs after she disowned Vijay. He delivers it so beautifully, every time.

And yeah, I don't mind being a bit voyeuristic here :P If anything, it's a sign of how convincing they are, that I have to fight an urge to look away, even knowing I won't be able to look away even if I tried.

I really hope writers on other shows are taking a cue from this and can do away with the pillow wall, couch, floor, etc. nonsense.

No one can look away with that magnetic pull they create on screen. Uff!

@ very true.. Her red and gold stood in stark contrast with the earthy hues of RR mansion ..I felt the same when she was walking down the stairs.. Oh I loved how she looked at Farhad and they both smiled at each other..and when Raghav didn't utter a word, forget Pallavi even Farhad was like ''ye Anna ko kya hua?'' 😆he is such a shipper.

I didn't immediately realize that he's slipped into Telugu, so for a second I was like imli kyun maang raha hai??

You know, there was a discussion here yesterday about how the mansion feels like a character in and off itself, and aaj I felt that so much. The parallel of Raghav entering the house alone in episode 1 vs with family aaj we've discussed, but that staircase has a story to tell of its own. Last time it was in such focus, Raghav descended, dressed to kill, determined to destroy Pallavi. Today, it was Pallavi descending, dressed to the nines herself, as his wife, on a day where they're both celebrating their marriage and praying for each other's wellbeing. Dil bhar aata hai soch ke.

Farhad is so smart, I loved the way he adoringly watched both of them, understood her shyness and his Anna's and interjected with key words to help these two appreciate each other just a bit more. The moment he saw Pallavi walk down the stairs, his look changed to Bhabi's killing it today, Anna is gone.

Yeh Raghav ke staff bhi na uski pol kholne mein experts hein.

Also, Farhad has the added context in mind of seeing his Anna with all those women, in his playboy mode. He knows the difference too and appreciates what Pallavi brings into his Anna's life.
