The pooja itself may be sanskaari but the emotion behind doing something for that special person, including her dressing up for him, in the clothes he bought and him preparing the thaali to make sure she didn't feel like anything was missing from her traditions and expectations, it was all so well done. I loved how it not just showed his (and Amma's) acceptance and respect of her culture but also the fact that being a Telegu, Raghav was mesmerized seeing her in Marathi style, that this look didn't feel foreign to him but more endearing, more apni. She was the manifestation of the one thing, the one source of happiness that is entirely his own.

I think some of it plays into how he feels after hearing Ved threaten to harm her, that visual of her in all her finery must have been imprinted on his head. Also, the significance of the red to replace the white he promised would never reenter her life and the sign of vitality all round, was really prominent in that scene.

I don't know if I'm saying all this the right way, either. Hope you get what I'm trying to say. 😆

Hahaha, this episode has left us all wanting for words, but I get you too.

I feel like a broken record, because I'm repeating stuff from the AT again, but of course seeing her dressed like that today made a huge impact on Raghav. It's the first time ever he's seeing her in red, dressed like a bride. She didn't dress up for the wedding, understandably. On the reception, she chose to wear white. When Jaya decked her up in all the sringaar of a new bride, he didn't get to see her.

And I'm so freaking glad that this first look was reserved for when they had accepted the marriage, just like the grih pravesh into their real home today. None of the bitter memories to taint all these firsts.

I'm guessing based on his reactions that indeed it is all uncharted territory. He has never had a women in there for reasons other than physical pleasure. This time it's him sharing his personal space, his everything with her, a different type of intimacy. I never expected to see the Raghav Rao affected to this extent by it all but I love how the writers pay attention to all these little details about his character. It just feels like we're on this journey with him too as he has new experiences and grows.

Also, to those who were wondering which side of the bed she'd sleep on, you have your answer now.

I wonder if Pallavi's realized that the bathroom is all glass and that the screen was just drawn. Looking forward to more awkward scenes there.

Im curious, did Raghav manage to do anything on his laptop, from the time Pallavi entered the bedroom to the time she closed her eyes??😆 Anddd, did he absolutely need those files that got covered by the blanket/comforter she pulled over herself? Kya karna kya chah rahe the bhai? 🤣

''hai sarfaroshi ye ashiqui bhi, jayegi jaan meri isme kabhi...zikr tumhara jab jab hota, dekho na har lamha teri dastaan keh jata hai..meri harr ek tadap ko sukoon mil jaye, tera chehra jab nazar aye....''

These two have made me crazy❤️

😄 just was watching the scene again. You know both of them were absolutely spot on their facial expressions. He was having that slight smile at first and then when her lingerie fell, she gave him a second of flustered look and he was looking at her reactions. The way she showed that slight defiance there as if so what, and he immediately caught her cue that he was staring and looked down awkwardly. Shivangi really nailed it today with these small expressions and Sai gave her the equal support. These two don’t need dialogues, their eyes and facial expressions are brilliant enough for that subtle romance.

I know, right? No words but all the emotions reached us immediately. You can tell as time passes how much Raghav and Pallavi are in tune with each other emotions and can interpret these non-verbal cues.

The camera work was exceptionally good in this scene too, even better than it usually is. I loved how they used the different angles and the way the whole thing was shot, was so perfect.

Such a talented team!!!! I want to write an appreciation post for them. I can't stop gushing about the screenplay, it made all the difference especially in this scene. You can tell they did their best in the cramped locations at the hotel but now with this open space they will leave us spellbound every time. I mean, we already saw a lot of amazing scenes there but then Raghav used to live alone. Now we will see some more interesting use of the space that I am really eagerly waiting for, and you can trust Sai and Shivangi to just keep outdoing themselves as future scenes are crafted.

I am dying to see that study again, it's my favorite spot in the whole mansion.

Hey, thanks a lot for explaining this! I learned a lot. 😃

Maybe they were trying to welcome Pallavi in her traditional style?

I felt that the dialogue of Amma telling Raghav to put his hand on his head seemed to come from Geeta ji and not Amma.

It was also extra special for Pallavi and Raghav because it was their first Vat Savitri together as a married couple...Pallavi mostly underplays her physical beauty, not consciously but because she is herself not aware of how gorgeous she is..She dressed up like she would for Vat Savitri but the sensuality, radiance and aura she has exuding, like some goddess, was after she saw Raghav look at her that way..the famous lines from dil to pagal hai ''jab wo mujhe dekhta hai, to mujhe lagta hai mein khubsoorat hu'' She felt khubsurat and that reflected on her demeanor..

I agree, Pallavi is not aware of her beauty but seeing his reaction helped her understand the effect she had on him in that scene.

@bold, truly loved this, it perfectly describes her state of mind there. smiley42

I am glad the writers didn't overdo the bed sharing conversation and both Sai and Shivangi nailed it. For two actors who aren't married, they sure managed to convince us as a married a couple on screen. Raghav is the same person who made fun of her for being so chui mui during the blouse hook scene, but to see him show her respect and understand immediately what was troubling her, plus knowing exactly how to put her fears to rest was so adorable, I keep watching that scene again and again. I also loved that he didn't miss a chance to gently chide her for even suggesting she's sleep on the floor because that would be illogical in RR's mind.

Also, I love how Sai's voice gets a bit deeper whenever he says Kya hua like he did during the mirchi eating scene. I am glad Shivangi's getting a chance to show her talent too, and with the large spaces in RR mansion, you can feel they have more scope for creativity to set up interesting scenes.

The aesthetics were truly outstanding in this episode. At first I thought I felt that way because we'd missed the mansion but I reassessed it and realized that it was indeed a standout episode. Probably one of my favorites. I know what you mean about feeling intrusive but I think it's this very aspect that makes these two feel so real to us, and their dynamics so natural, because we see a couple behave the way they would in private, as opposed to putting on a show for outsiders.

At least my question on the location of the dressing room was answered today. I am still hoping for a house tour.

@bold- oh, yes! I'm trying to imagine a version of Raghav Rao that's totally chill with his wife sleeping on the floor while he hogs a king sized bed 🤣🤣Pallavi bhi na, such a cartoon sometimes.

The kya hua thing is just, uff. He did it even when they came home from the Deshmukhs after she disowned Vijay. He delivers it so beautifully, every time.

And yeah, I don't mind being a bit voyeuristic here :P If anything, it's a sign of how convincing they are, that I have to fight an urge to look away, even knowing I won't be able to look away even if I tried.

Yes that was a nice touch.. I have seen a lot of husbands fast for their wives and I knew Raghav would too..but his participation in the rituals like this? preparing the thaal for her, making sure she has everything she needs for the puja, that is what I liked more because that I have not seen many men do.. He actually googled up everything the night before and made sure everything was ready when she came down... his participation was as much as hers..

He suggested her getting ready, and taking the thaal from their house, casually, but those are signs of him 1.) being territorial 2.) being particular about how rituals are followed..like their wedding..it was forced but he still followed all rituals..

I'm not surprised at all by the amount of time and effort he put into getting all this ready for her. We know he has great aesthetic sense and is a perfectionist so it made sense that if he did something for her it wouldn't be anything but 100% right. I also loved how it reinforced that he felt it was a ritual that belonged to both of them, it was their thing, just for each other's happiness and wellbeing, not for the world or society or log kya kahenge. No one asked him to do all that prep, and she never expected it from him either, but he wanted to make her feel special, respected, and his priority, especially on this important day. Great contrast to when he was shooing her away as he was working on the bid and she was trying to explain the significance of the ritual.

I too felt he was being territorial from the moment he asked her to get dressed here, to the thaal, to dropping her off there, etc. his entire demeanor changed. Also, in the way he asked her to take a selfie, this is the first time he's asking her to do something for him, personally, haq se, isn't it? And he knows she will do it.

Yes, to him being particular about rituals. He's always been like that so I was happy to see that consistency. We also knew he'd take the marriage seriously regardless of the circumstances in which it happened, and he's proved it from day 1.

Full agree on Chalka Chalka Re, there was such a contrast in her movements and everyone else's. Also, the things she did with her eyes in that dance, both as real-Pallavi and fantasy-Pallavi.

As far as dances go, Vaathi Coming really stood out to me too, because that wasn't a typical 'graceful' or 'feminine' dance sequence, but her movements were so fluid and pretty.

Also, LOL, not sure if anyone remembers this one, but Kundi Na Khadkao Raja? 🤣 Again, since it was just her and Mansi dancing, her skill level was so obvious, even in super basic steps.
