Pendant Incident-My Views

After reading all views, my point is that I understand why Sai gave the pendant away to Bhavini so she has peace of mind and there is peace in the household.

However, my issues arises is Sai's lack of understanding that it could hurt Virat emotions if she did that. Its been shown that she doesnt take into consideration his feelings when doing that. Even after doing and talking to Ashwini about it, she seems unaware of the fact that his feelings are hurt. She shouldn't assume he is fine with it as no one will be if you gave someone a gift and they gave it away without considering your feelings on the matter.

In this instances, giving the pendant away was understandable: yet not realising afterwards that Virat is hurt by her actions and assuming he will be okay with it were totally wrong in my part.

So all in all Sai was right in some way in this matter but way more wrong for me. Ashwini is right: Sai should act like Virat's wife first then Chavan bahu afterwards as the Chavan family dont even consider her family so why should she take their feelings into consideration? If she has to choose between Virat and family as 1st and 2nd priority, Virat should be first over Bhavini and everyone.

I agree . I cannot understand why Sai could t realize she hurt him when he refused to have dinner . Isn’t it obvious when a man who was came to have dinner leaves without having one after seeing her recycling his gift . For once Pakhi was right in saying you don’t give way gift and Virat wouldn’t like it .

It's the same phase where Virat gone through now he is changing a bit but sai in now that zone..virat used to think his family isn’t hurting sai and he was chill about it and now sai thinks her choosing his family member over his gift won't hurt him and she is chill about it..i think they both still can't understood each other feelings properly..in some sense It's realistic though cause sai virat wasn’t lover of eternity or something.. They met because of some incident and got married.. It's not like they know each other for so many years so they sometimes miss judge others emotions or point of viwes..in real life it can be happened.. Even best friends or husband wife who are living together for so many years can miss judge each others feelings or point of view..virat lived with his family his hole life but still can't fugure out their true nature..so how can sai understand fully in a short period of time or vice versa..i kind of understanding why their is always some misunderstanding between them..they trust each other and Understand each others nature but they still somehow can't understand each other's feelings properly.. Yesterday virat miss sai's hint abt being hurt and today sai did the same..they should be more involved with each other rather than worry abt other family members now..which Virat is already started and now sai should be..

She is not choosing anyone over Virat. She is not on the same page about the feelings of love yet. Virat has realized long back, but Sai is only taking baby steps. She feels like family is and should be Virats priority and she is not being mahaan, she is merely trying to end the kalesh if possible. She thinks that Virat won't mind it because he also would easily give a material object away if it would help keep peace in the house. She didnt quite factor in the "sentiment" aspect which she should have. But she is being naive and its unfortunate. But she is not doing it deliberately. So its not like she doesn't care.

Infact she prioritized him over her self respect because she came back only for him and stays in this warzone trying to make people accept her without becoming a doormat but still trying to make them see her just the way Virat, aai, devi etc do. She is staying because he asked her to and because she can't leave him. She was so happy when he told her he is stopping her as a husband. So she has placed Virat first. Its just that she does things a little differently and her reactions are all over the place due to her confusion, the daily insult/dramas and so she does not realize Virats pov. If Ashwini had explained , she surely would have considered it seriously and apologized, or manaoed him cutely.

This is entirely my POV here. She should have apologized to Virat. It’s not about whether she loves him . The way he gave it and the reason he had for buying it alone shows he cares and should have realized it. I don’t think Ashwini or someone has to explain her this. If someone gifts you something and you give it away, even to someone elder in your family, you owe an apology and an explanation to the person who gifted you. Above all other reasons, it’s courtesy. Doesn’t Virat even deserve courtesy from her, sometimes she blatantly refuses to acknowledge his feelings.

Virat already knows the reason. Bk said it. She said i wanted a ruby because panditji told me etc etc. And its because he figured out what happened is why he could swallow his hurt and come up with the idea to gift bk another ruby pendant and give Sai hers back. Plus he probably recalled Sais bhavishyavani about pendant becoming pain daant too! So yes Virat is absolutely justified to be upset and hurt but Sai hasnt been shown explicitly explaining it because we are shown that Virat already knows. Sai has not done anything deliberately. And she values his gesture a lot. That much was apparent to Virat too..The fact that he remembered and bought her something she had wished for means a lot to her.

I don't find fault with either Sai or Virat because that is how most of us behave in the initial stages of relationship. Also Sai is in dilemma with her relation to Virat to understand her priorities. But if she continues to be naive and innocent in these kind of situations then in long run people will take advantage of her.

Ashwini should make her understand these kind of things since she is a victim of over dominant people.

Yeah I think so too! He is mature enough to understand it. Also sunny voiced it too that the gesture would have made sai more happy!
